One Body. One Spirit
“Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.” — 1 Corinthians 10:17
When Jesus broke the bread, He wasn’t just starting a meal; He was starting a movement.
The table He set still stretches across generations and nations. Around it, the proud learn humility, the weary find rest, and the divided discover they belong.
Unity isn’t sameness. It’s harmony, a sacred sound made when different notes choose to listen to one another.
In a world that builds walls, Christ still builds a table.
Sit there. Listen. Forgive. Break the bread. Pass the cup.
Because at His table, no one sits higher, and no one sits lower; we are one in the Body of Christ.
Reflection Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach me to love Your people the way You love Your Church. Heal what divides us. Unite us in Your Spirit. Let Your table be our meeting place again. Amen.
