Rant..
Warning: Rant Alert
I've come home from work early (again) today, I was having pains and feeling generally quite rubbish. So thought I'd work from home for the rest of the day.
I could feel the judging as I was packing away and saying good bye.. Do you think I want to be 28 and not be able to hack being at work for the whole day.
I didn't sign up for this life, it was NOT a choice.
I WANT TO:
be able to do a full day at work without being exhausted
not take 11.5 nasty tablets a day (minimum)
not log each toilet visit
eat what I want, without fear
not need surgery
have a normal, functioning anus
be able to do all the things I did only one year ago
go out with my friends, party and have fun
be able to gain weight
control my bowel functions
However, I can't have these things at the moment. So for now at least, I WILL put myself and my health FIRST.
I would urge you all to do the same, you only get one body and one life. Be healthy and take care of yourself.
I WILL push myself to get out for a run tonight, goodness for the mind and body!

I've started the day with a yoga session, match green tea, avocado on toast, probiotic, prednisolne, adcal and finally a good old multivitamin.
Good to go, bring on the week ahead! ๐๐ป
Weekly Prep..
Now it's time to crack on with food shopping and getting prepped for the week. The best way to eat well and keep my crohn's managed is to be organised and know I have a healthy steam of tolerated food. Also need to keep the pred munchies at bay!
My 'Go to' list:
Free range chicken
Salmon fillets
Cod / similar white fish
Tuna
Potatoes
Spinich
Bananas
Unsweetened soya milk (whole bean, mixes well in coffee)
Unsweetened almond milk
Avocado
Matcha green tea
White rice
Reduced salt organic vegetable stock
White bread
Dark chocolate (70% +)
Carrots
Asparagus
Smooth peanut butter
Smooth almond butter
Mint tea
Cucumber (skinned)
*I buy organic where possible.
