Ingredients: 1.5 pounds ground beef. 4 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped. 1 cup shredded Wisconsin cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup sweet onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and additional barbecue sauce for garnish.
Instructions: Ground beef, chopped jalapeno peppers, shredded Wisconsin cheddar cheese, sweet onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, barbecue sauce, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Thoroughly mix the ingredients together until they are well blended. Cut the mixture into 8 equal pieces and shape each one into a thin patty. Add an extra 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the middle of four of the patties. Place one of the remaining patties on top of each cheese-covered patty. Seal the edges to make stuffed burger patties. Set your grill to medium-high heat and oil the grate so that food doesn't stick. The stuffed cheeseburgers should be cooked on the grill for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them. On the grill, toast the buns for one to two minutes, until they're just slightly browned. Put tomato slices and lettuce leaves on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers. Spread out some vegetables and then put a cheeseburger patty on top of them. If you want, you can add more barbecue sauce on top. Put the other half of the bun on top. This Wisconsin Jalapeno Cheddar Stuffed Cheeseburger tastes sweet and spicy. Serve it hot and enjoy!
