Indulge in the savory goodness of a Steak and Cheese Burger, where a juicy beef patty meets tender slices of steak and melted cheddar cheese, all topped with a tangy sauce and caramelized onions. It's a mouthwatering combination of flavors!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 burger buns. 4 slices of steak cooked. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup caramelized onions. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce and tomato slices optional, for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Grill or cook the burger patties to your preferred level of doneness, typically 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of steak and a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese. Close the grill or cover the pan to allow the cheese to melt. While the burgers are cooking, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl to create a sauce. To assemble the burgers, spread the sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a cooked patty with steak and cheese on top. Add caramelized onions on top of the steak and cheese. Optionally, garnish with lettuce and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun, and your Steak and Cheese Burgers are ready to serve! Enjoy your delicious homemade burgers!
