𝓓𝓒'𝓼 𝓗𝓪𝔀𝓴-𝓖𝓲𝓻𝓵 𝓢𝓾𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓻 #1 𝓒𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓼

"Spooky stories for terrifying times, featuring bone-chilling tales from some of comics’ most fearsome fabulists and harrowing artists! With spine-tingling shorts starring Batman, Ambush Bug, Raven, The Demon, Plastic Man, Swamp Thing, and, of course, the Mistress of Magic herself, Zatanna, as they summon spirits and struggle against the supernatural!"
huh…
I am kinda glad Gwen didn’t end up becoming the personification of story. I do agree that’s a huge shift in status quo to happen in a mini series, but something that might be fitting further down the line for her… like wayyyy further. Bc as I’ve been talking about before, what I think Gwen needs is to become more grounded, and leaving earth to become a cosmic entity is kinda the opposite of that (although that would also probably mean a design glow up magical girl style which of course I would love, i have simple wants and pretty outfits fulfill me). Hm.. there’s probably a balance they could strike for that level of reality manipulation like they do with Franklin and Wanda
However I am kinda sad we lost the different elements of Gwen’s backstory. What do you mean we could have had gwenpool and Wolverine????? That single panel from GSB makes my heart squeeze. And we could have touched more on the Gwen being a mutant thing AND the weapon x plot line
Well the story we got is the story we got, like it or hate it, or secret third option. It’s wild that in the age of the internet the authors can tell you stuff like this.
