My Transformers addiction is coming back and along with my craving for plastic so does the one for Soundwave.
Specifically him and his cassettes. I need a story exploring their dynamics, and I’m not talking about couple or one specific bot, I’m talking the full family dynamic of Soundwave being a father for at least 16 bots.
Also I am personally a fan of Ravage being a girl as presented in Earthspark, idk, doesn’t really add anything to her but it feels right in my mind. Also speaking of which, anyone else think of Ravage when they first saw Shadow Panther? Like I know he has an actual BW design but I don’t like it. Also I think all the cassettes getting new bodies like that with a traditional robot and alternate mode could make a cool “coming of age” style thing. Like they’re adults now.
I have ideas for a short story I might make… MAYBE… but I’m working on this fic that’s gonna be LONG and I’ll being splitting into separate “books” so after I get the first one done I might make it.
Random Transformers headcanon:
Minibots/cons are considered a minority on Cybertron. And thus, they face a lot of discrimination. Inaccessibilities are hard to manage, along with downright bigotry from some bots. There's a reason most minis end up as 'cons- when the Decepticon revolution started, the minis wanted to fight for their rights, too.
