As for Lazerbeak, I think of her as a bit of a mix between the two.

After Lazerbeak admitted it (they?) want to be friends, Lena decides to go along with it after much consideration. She could use some more friends in this hellhole (read: ALIEN WARSHIP).

Lazerbeak chose to stick around. The robo-bird silently hovered behind Lena, little more than a security camera that kind of liked her. Feeling like she was being watched was one thing; standing face-to-face with the one doing the watching was another.

Lena glanced at the monitors. Inspired - and trying to cure the ensuing silence - Lena said, "Hey. Who was that on the screen? Pointy dude with the wings and heels."

Lazerbeak buzzed. From that blank face came the unmistakeable growl of Megatron, stating, "Starscream."

Lena felt like she struck gold.

"Really?" Lena couldn't half-believe it. That gangly bastard was the dickhead making everybody miserable? That was the guy she was supposed to be afraid of? Not passing up this opportunity, Lena asked the little spy-bot, "What do you think of him?"

Lazerbeak remained quiet. Eager for any crumb of gossip, Lena gave her full attention.

Lazerbeak's wings twitched. A sequence of voices answered her question: "A simpering fool- an esteemed Air Commander such as- that lying braggart."

Damn, using his own voice against him.

"A liar and an idiot," Lena summarized.

"A cunning foe," Lazerbeak quoted - almost like a warning. Starscream's voice told her, "I am not one to be trifled with."

...noted. Starscream could still turn her into a pancake.

"Thanks," Lena said. Then, "...what can you tell me about the other guys?"
