Jim route night 1 in PT-Br has reached it's first ending in the script!
Ending 1 - Shared Experience
Once reaching Auroras' Massion, you decide to make a detour to the kitchen before heading to bed. There, you met a grumpy fox, despite starting on the wrong foot, you two hit off just well enough for her to invete you to feed the falcons your old friend once loved.
Jim's chapter turned out more of an accidental meet cute mets comedy, which is kinda what I was going for.
The inclusion of the hints about the topics that were not branched in deept as they were in Oryus route can be a but brutish, but I will allow myself to let them be that way in prole of me actualy finishing a project for once.

"Learn the fundamentals first" seems like really sound universal advice, and as a former classical musician, I can vouch for it. You will have a more solid foundation for increasing complexity if you put in the time to study in a structured way. If you don't, you'll have a lot of shit to fix later.
As a former music teacher, I can also say that "learn the fundamentals first" is the death knell for a vast percentage of beginners, especially adult learners.
I've run into this with drawing several times, where some well-meaning artist has lectured me on needing to study anatomy properly or not use shortcuts like CSP brushes. And oh, believe me, I know. I know exactly how to learn an artistic discipline in a structured way. I just...don't want to!
The thing is, I'm not aiming to be a professional artist. I want to draw my gay little anime guys. I would undoubtedly improve at art much faster if I approached every gay little anime guy drawing as a study exercise. But I would also have quit drawing a decade ago if I couldn't just let myself enjoy drawing imperfect fucked-up little guys with whatever shortcuts I needed to body myself across the finish line.
With my adult piano students, my approach was always "What's your goal?" If their goal was to learn exactly one Elton John songbook to play at parties, then...that's what we did. We'd put tape on the keys to label the notes, and just fuckin go for it. Learning exactly one Elton John songbook is a good and noble musical goal, full stop.
Some of my students needed and enjoyed a more structured approach to learning; if they wanted to be able to play classical music, then yes, scales were going to have to enter the equation at some point. And yet others would learn the Elton John songbook, catch their white whale, and realize they wanted to explore more of the ocean. The scales were still there for them to learn!
Often the choice isn't between "learn art well" and "learn art imperfectly" - the choice is between "learn art imperfectly" and "don't do art at all." To which I say, learn imperfectly! Or, what the hell, don't 'learn' art. Just do, and enjoy the doing of it.
You have official permission from your local pretentious classical music snob: fuck the fundamentals. You can always unfuck them later (but only if you want to).

Gervan wishes to have a proper duel, to be taken serious for once… he got his wish, and yet…
There are plenty of perks being born a noble, the opportunities, the network, the influence, the financial stability… however, nothing at all, could fix what he desires most, no money could buy true respect, no amount of coin could wet another's hand for sincerity.
And when one is a magic student then? Well… a problem rises when you try to find suitable duel partner. Most students accept his challenges yes, but few ever impress him with their magical aptitude, and the ones who could… clearly fear to give it their all.
"That was close!" Silven laughs, the red head rises from the ground where his companion had trow him with a gust of wind in the mid of sparing, cleaning his clothes in the process.
"You are improving your aim with those swords" that was a lie, Gervan could tell that his friend was clearly missing him on purpose, Silven had one of the clear tells of it as well, his voice becomes a touch pitcher once called out.
"You think so?!" There it was.
"I'm sure of it" Now up, the two boys make their way through the campus, Gervan listens as Silven talks about anything and everything all at once.
Soon it would be time to duel class, and everything would settle down as usual, Silven would be his partner unless some noble wanted an excuse to get closer to him, then Gervan would have to politely decline or, if it was someone of notice, accept, pretend to duel each other for half an hour, hence and repeat.
Inside him, the navy haired boy had a light fear of never actually evolving his spells' mastery because of this, those who never go unchallenged would never achieve their true potential after all, and Gervan hates how, no matter how much he begged, even his tutors, he still was treated as a piece of delicate glass.
How was he supposed to surpass his limits when everything he gets is mock duels and weary looks? Teachers couldn't touch him because of his family name, other nobles as well, hell, anyone who knew him and wasn't living under a rock for the past ten years…
It's not like Gervan hadn't pushed them back too, it's not like he hasn't punished all who even dared underestimated him too much, he has won almost all duels, the sole exceptions being the one with people he knew would take too personally his victory and make them see him as an enemy, he had too many set backs as it was already.
And then there was Silven, the boy tried, but even at his most petty he refused to actually risk a scratch on him, be it chivalry or his continuous attempt to mask his malicious intentions, it all ended in the same thing for Gervan, pity.
His friendship with the red head was transactional at it's core, it's almost impossible to have friends that were not interested in what he could offer to them as the heir of the Hastings.
Given this one was the rare case of someone with a guilty conscience about it, it's probably why Gervan even considers him a truer friend than most anyways, but that guilt was not enough to make Silven consider him a dignifying opponent… so as always, nothing truly changed around him.
"Do you think it will be a demonstration today?"
"I heard the professor was planning free rounds today, to test our creativity I think?" Silven looks around the class, hands automatically going to Gervan's handle and helping him navigate the corridor of tables and chairs.
He let him, it made the boy feel useful, and his disappointment would already flourish in class, better not worse it, better to keep quiet, keep his distaste to himself, he would look like an ungrateful brat to anyone else's eyes anyways, so just…
Let it be, let the day continue as it would, let nothing change, let the world do as it pleases with him.
It already would do so anyways, even if he fought it, nothing could change the outcome, Gervan, is nothing but a trophy for a title to hang now, he has no chance to redefine anything about his appearance, his poise, his age, his achievements, no matter how hard he tries… he will never be seen as someone other than that pitiful little boy that lost his ability to walk…
"Gervan" His thoughts snaps back into place, the teacher's voice echoes in class as everyone now looks at him, his placid smile widens in response, practiced into perfection "could you be so kind and demonstrate a true duel to your colleagues?"
"of course professor" With practiced ease Gervan unlocks his wheels and pushes himself over to the front of class, now changed to make way for all duels to happen.
Now on one end of the duel ring, Gervan can see, next to the professor, his opponent, a girl with short white hair, he has never take note of her until today, perhaps she is a new student? Either way she clearly had at least a basic knowledge of magic, her scepter, from the distance, was crafted with care, the floating blue gem showcasing a impressive magic muscle memory from her part to keep it in place.
Her expression was… neutral, no smile or frown, only when eyes rests on him for a moment, only then is when she smiles briefly and nods, but just as quickly her eyes wonder again, and settle back to that neutral expression.
"Now with our top two student's concent, everyone pay attention!" top two students? Oh so that's who that was… the girl hogging the first place in all tests despite being almost a shadow in class… "Gervan, Cassadee, give it your all!"
Cassadee… well, perhaps this could be interesting after all, he could sweep her off her feet here and now, no family name to deter him, and if she had any connections that mattered to take note he would have know already, and the teacher did say give it your all…
However… would it even be worth it if she didn't take him serious?
That's when a blast of water hit his face, solid like a basket ball, with such strength that Gervan was pushed back, his jaw hurts.
What…?
The girl spins her scepter, with precise movements she shakes it in his direction, around her puddles of water forms and from them more spheres rises on the air, one by one she essentially smacks them into his direction, all looking as solid as the first.
"Professor isn't that a bit too brutal?" he can hear Silven intervene from the outside.
With a click of his tough and flicker of his hand Gervan rises a dome of protection, the water blasts hit it with force, they break like ballons around it, drops covering the arena. He has to fight back, or else the teacher might stop them, and by the Celestials his pride wouldn't take it well, not after the first hit.
He extends his left hand, space distorts around it creating a star and as it materializes he pulls back while sending his right hand forward, it makes the star shot forward like a projectile into Cassadee's direction, it hits her left arm, she whines but stays still.
"Now, now everyone , this is only a demonstration" he can hear the apprehension in the professor's tone, but neither Gervan nor his opponent seem to spare a moment of their attention to them.
Their eyes met, hers shines with focus, a frown on her brown, the blue crystal rises from the bottom of the scepter, it floats to her hands, she starts to move, physically maneuvering around his attacks, the water spheres rise and now follow her into a spiral.
Their duel escalates, stars and water clashing into each other, both students hold their ground, Gervan's shield is cracked, Cassadee breaths are uneven, despite his effort Gervan can feel his hands trembling, their mana mix and paint the whole class room with agitation, the professor started to rise a barrier around the ring to contain the chaos of the battle.
His left ring shines, he is tired, but so is she, with a deep breath Gervan makes his decision, a black sphere forms in his palm, it changes forms like the phases of the moon.
First comes new moon.
The stars spin rapidly around the girl, their speed increased.
"Gervan!" Silven screams.
Cassadee's eyes flicker to his hand, and her posture changes, her scepter coming closer to her body as she closes her eyes, the water spheres spin around her faster like a shield, on her feet a puddle of water starts to form, the crystal seems to build pressure against the base of it's resting place, it spins rapidly in place.
They will give it their all.
The moon changes to crescent.
"Cassadee that's enough!" The teacher calls attention.
The girl spins in place as she rises her weapon into the air and the crystal shots up, shining brightly, and calling upon a giant wave from the nothing in front of her, it clashes with Gervan's dome like a tsunami.
He can feel the pressure building in, it's going to shatter.
The stars he controls halt their attack and shot themselves to the back of his wheelchair, moments latter his protection spell breaks and the wave hits him, but it does not carry him out.
He is still firmly put inside the ring.
The moon reaches it's first quarter.
Above him a giant sphere materializes, it looks like the the celestial body he holds in his hands.
The wave passes and Cassadee repeats her first wave of attacks, spheres coming onto him now with renewed strength, his stars meet her blasts like hounds to their prey.
She takes her scepter closer to her body…
The moon above expands in size, a fake sky materialities, with it, star shining above all.
It has reached the gibbous phase.
He will crush her.
And she rises her scepter into the air without flourish…
Gervan's world spins.
"I said enough!"
He feels wet, wind spins around him, weightless, the boy is slowly reunited with his wheelchair that had been knocked to the opposite side of the classroom by the professor's magic, who rushes to his side, Silven right behind them.
"I am so sorry Mister Hastings! I should have given her better instructions" They turn to Cassadee who looks as breathless as he is and shouts "CASSADEE I SAID ENOUGH! YOU ARE TO COME WITH ME TO THE HEADMASTER OFFICE IN THIS INSTANCE!"
"There is… no need… Mi-" he tries to say between breaths, but the teacher has already left his side.
"Gervan are you alright? That water column was a nasty move" Silven puts a hand on his spine, Gervan's vision is still spinning, had he been sent flying upwards then?
"I am fine Silven" He says between his teeth, adrenaline muddying his mind "stop fussing over me, that was nothing"
"You sure?" he takes a deep breath.
"Yes" and rasps out an answer, soon he was surrounded by students checking on his health, many faces he recognizes as the children of nobles, but his eyes are drawn to the door.
Cassadee looks worried to the teacher who looks red with shame and rage, they walk out of the classroom, as murmurs continue to surround the students. The moment his attention drifts from the pair, his ears pick near by conversation while he placates the needless worry of familiar faces.
"Did you see that wave?"
"Her control is truly amazing isn't it?"
"That's the Lyceum's top one alright"
"But don't you think she went too far?"
"She could have been more gentle… it was just a mock duel after all"
"Nah, I have seen her in other classes, she never knows when to measure her strength, it's all or nothing with that girl"
"How tone deaf honestly… against a noble's son no less…"
"She will be lucky if she even gets a job as a drift store employee now ha!"
A scream is heard from the gossipers direction, one of his remaining stars seemed to shatter the gossip's boy's pen holder…
As no one around him looked over, Gervan decided to say nothing.
He won't tho, that would be a fatal blow to his ego if Merlin died like this by him
Sometime between the first weeks of Crown of Ashes probably, I dunno man they had time to meet at the fucking street theater everything is possible now

And you can see the same rules that the first one uses being used in the latest one but better
The S curve, the rendering, the conposition, the stablishinh shots, the fucking ballons
Never give up this is what years of practice can give to you, make it, it doesn't need to be perfect nor "properly finishied" you just need to make it first
[Break down bellow]
Stablishing shot
2023: the stablishing shot stablished the ball and the character detached to it with enough rendering to indicate the important part that was the character looking from the outside but not joining in, a barrier between them
2026: a more dynamic shot, stablishing both emotional starting points of the characters while anticipating the converging of their paths. With enough background to actualy stablish where they are physically in the scene
-
S CURVE
2023: a weak S curve, that keeps the readers eyes in the middle, not making good use of the whole page
2026: a strong S curve that guides the readers eyes through the whole drawings, making maximum use of the canvas
-
Characters positions
2023: while mainly keeping red character on the left and blue character on the right, the point of breaking this composition isn't strong enough to give new information to the viwer making the next set of panels kinda invert their positions when togheter meaningless and weaker
2026: keeping the characters on their respective left and right side until the scene that breaks it shows a merge of both points, giving emphasis on the "unusuality" of it all, then back to using the rule in hopes to help the reader notice the little detail of the blue characters existence and the joke as a whole

He won't tho, that would be a fatal blow to his ego if Merlin died like this by him
Sometime between the first weeks of Crown of Ashes probably, I dunno man they had time to meet at the fucking street theater everything is possible now
Oryus route night 1 in PT-Br has come to a satisfying conclusion to me tonight
Ending 1 - Paralel play
Meet the cute Clown of Circus' Boreal in the magical tower of Aurora's mansion, chatting a bit you two form a bond of workaholic minds bubling with creativity and dreams of the upcoming festival
With this first chapter, I now have the formula to the other 2 first endings, and when those happen, I can branch out to more
The comum tread of those first chapters is now the festival introduction, start of the small mystery of why you left Auroras' court five years ago, and the importance of the panting you have to finish
[PT-BR ABAIXO]
Magin de Aurora - Update de roteiro 1
Oryus
Nessa noite a Rota de Oryus, noite 1 PT-BR, finalmente foi concluĂda de uma maneira satisfatĂłria para mim
Since Headmaster Leymar refuses to cooperate, his end is now timed to the end of this years' semester, but before that, one needs to train the assassin that will bring forward his doom, after all the boy may be ambitious, but there is just so much one can do when one still has to get used with how to walk again.
Cyran hates however, how, for just a split second, the passion and wonder of magic in the boys eyes makes his memory flash to someone else.
The boy is getting resilient.
The setting sun of Savannah paints the forest in beautiful hues of gold and green as the sky changes to the deep purple of the night to come, on the distance howlings of hounds grows ever distant, soon the hunt orchestrated by his highness will end, and the two mages will have to retrieve themselves from training once again.
However, unlike the last weeks, the Serene Lyceum school year will start in a matter of days, and the chief magister of the court will be oh so extremely busy with plenty of things to come, the tides are changing and Cyran is at the center of it all, and, when everything goes according to plan, so will be the young heir of the Hasting family.
Gervan has been adapting to his legs with the determination of a starving hyena, angry, desperate, and yet he persists, his will alone shows his worth as the correct pic the court magician made to carry out the Syndicate's plans.
His magic control was, thankfully, improving faster, now Cyran couldn't sense the dark magic flowing through the boys' body, that was most important if they wish to do this properly. In the end the Headmaster is proving too stubborn, to enter Merlin's tower and retrieve the correct memory star… Leymar has to die.
If Cyran was a weaker men he would feel a sting of sadness, perhaps even guilt, when it came to the fate of his old teacher, but now… he couldn't even bring himself to pity the boy that will soon turn into a killer.
After all how could he? When the fire behind his eyes shine like a mirror of his own self thirty years ago.
This had been his gamble when he studied the top three students of the Lyceum, the ones who could pass the court mage exam without much fuss, and saw Gervan stuck on the second place, merely few scores away from the top student.
Some strings pulled here and there and with the history of his disability revealed, Cyran knew he was the perfect candidate for his inside agent.
"Your control is improving" He praises as the boy with navy hair when his levitating spell is dispersed and the heavy rock falls back to the ground "but it still has room for improvement, your magic is still connected with your emotional state, it shows through the cracks and slight damage of the objects you manipulate, I expect better results tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?" Gervan questions, by habit the boy hides his fatigue and tries to rest his weight in the nearest tree "Are we stopping early today magister Cyran?"
"You are to practice something else this last hours."
With a flicker of his staff the air distorts in space, waves of particles dance around the shape of a wheelchair that materializes near the court mage, it's elegant, fit for a noble's son, not so different from the boy's current device, but it will be ten time more useful than a mere mobility aid.
Gervan frowns at the chair, pale eyes darting cautiously from the magisters' side to the tucked away wheelchair, the one he uses, to pretend normalcy around others who are yet to discover the miracle that was bestowed upon him by the Adamant Syndicate.
"Magister… did I falter in conceal my healed condition?"
"Not at all, this is no cage young Hasting, this is a weapon."
"A weapon?" now curious, the young man approaches.
"Indeed" his hands inspects the push handles disguised as adornments "Now that the academic semester will start, and your magic is quickly settling down with our gift, it's high time you learn how to channel more of this blessing, it may come in use for your mission"
"channel more… this will help me use dark magic?" Gervan approaches closer, inspecting the arm rests, his family ring shinning in resonance with the wheelchair, a catalyzer meeting it's enhancer.
"Yes, if you can handle it, and you will be able to, won't you Gervan?"
His eyes shine with ambition "Yes Magister Cyran"
The court mages distances himself from the boy with precise steps, all the while giving instructions "You remember the feeling of your gift in it's first weeks yes?"
"An immense discomfort that festered my legs, like the piercing wind of a cyclone, it's quite impossible to forget really"
"Chanel that feeling" his back is turned, but the familiar feeling of dark magic being called upon is already present in the air "it will connect you with that weapon, and it's true form will be revealed"
"And once it does" Cyran continues "you will soar free as never before, this…"
And the wind sings as a cold purple hue overtakes his surroundings, the clicks and scratches of metal compose the symphony of the boys transformation, only when it stops, does Cyran turn "is the true blessing he bestowed upon you"
With gasps Gervan stands where once the mobility aid and himself once stood side by side, upright, halos like suns binding his head an wrists in design, the wheels floating like extensions of his own legs, but most important, the boy floats lightly above the ground, he is indeed the best choice that could have been made for this.
"I…" and for a moment the formality is gone, and the boys' eyes grow large, his smile slips into almost innocence "I'm floating?!"
"indeed and with practice you will be able to even-"
Gervan doesn't seem to listen for an instance, he tentatively slides around the lake like an ungraceful fawn, and immediately tries to glide above the water.
He sinks just enough for his shoes to not touch a drop.
"fly"
"I can fly…"
"Glide for now" Cyran corrects, trying to have the boys attention back "with enough practice you will be ready to soar the skies"
But seems it has fallen into deaf ears yet again as Gervans' boyish laugh echoes through the woods and he essentially walks on water, by the seconds he gets more comfortable with the new way gravity operates and soon enough he is spinning completely above water.
Cyran holds his grievances for now, a sigh being the only indication of his expectations lowering, Gervan is still a boy at the end of the day, affected by the games of the court but not yet old enough to participate, let him enjoy the last moments of his freedom before entering the den of treachery that awaits him as court mage…
"Magister look! It's incredible! I weight nothing!"
When Cyran looks at the boy again, he is like a rag doll being dangled by a tread, ungraceful in every movement, and yet… for a split second, when he smiles so wide, his long hair free of it's bow, red eyes shining not with malice but glee and mischief.
Cyran sees a ghost.
…..
"THE CARPET WORKS! CYRAN LOOK! LOOK!"
With a deep sigh Cyran prepares himself to turn around and be face to face with more of Merlin's showing off, given the wetter they have gathered some books in levitation and decided to practice outside the library, his rival had wasted half their time looking at star charts and practicing light magic to make it look like a sphere with a star in it's center.
Useless parlor tricks as usual, but he knew that when it finally came down to the right spell, Merlin would ace it so perfectly that the boys chest would squeeze in envy of it's effortlessly.
He was somewhat wrong this time however.
"Good for you, now be quiet I still need to- WHAT?!"
As the boy turn around his frown disappears as surprise and indignation overtakes him, Merlin is floating upside down trapped in the carpet they tried to enchant.
"How did you even???" Forgoing his books the noble boy stands up and is now face to face with his idiot classmate "You know what? Don't tell me, honestly only you to get into such messes"
Their smile widens, Merlin's eyes shine with glee and mischief as They wiggle in static place above ground "It's kinda comfortable to be honest, you should try it"
"I am no vampire to enjoy my blood flowing down my head" Cyran feels the sides of the package that is now his rival, seeking a edge to pull them out.
"Could have fooled me with how pale you are."
"Shut it idiot, I'm not the one upside down." he can feel shame paint his ears red, they are insufferable.
He should leave them there, see if it teaches them not to humiliate their savior… then again if he could get them out of there and as a bonus this house of cards Merlins has conjured to keep this thing floating as it is falls with them, it will be a funny sight to see today at least.
"What are you doing?" They ask as he circles around them.
"Looking for an edge"
"That's my butt"
"I swear to Dura if you don't shut up-" and the second he finds a fold, Merlin is immediately taken soaring through the skies "Shit!"
He dashes after them all evening as their laugh turns into screams for help.
…..
"Gervan!"
The shout finally gets the boys attention.
"That's enough" His staff plunges itself into the ground, even the soft grass couldn't contain it's weight "Focus on controlling your gift"
The young noble's eyes slits in shame, his soaring stops and he bows immediately back to himself "yes, my apologies Magister Cyran I… I got a carried away, it won't be happen again"
"See that it won't, back to the ground, lift yourself with grace this time, tomorrow I'll bring the last piece of your equipment and we will spar"
"Spar!? But so soon I don't think-"
"Practice makes perfection, an ambush means nothing if you can not wield a knife first, now come on, we have only one hour left"
Fear flashes in his eyes for a moment, Cyran ignores it an taps impatiently in his scepter, his chest still aches with emotions from the memory, he doesn't allow himself to ponder what more semblances Gervan might have with the person he most despises.

[PT-BR ABAIXO]
Magin de Aurora - Update de roteiro 1
Oryus
Nessa noite a Rota de Oryus, noite 1 PT-BR, finalmente foi concluĂda de uma maneira satisfatĂłria para mim
Getting ideas in the middle of a project is so fujcing frustrating
Yes brain making a reverse gender "had*s(lucif*r analog version) and pers*phone" but focus on pers*phone as a usurper of a conglomerates multiverse plot first THEN introduce had*s sounds woulderfull but how about we focus on the OBJECT HEAD FUCKER SIMULATOR FIRST??????
