What are your bookish plans for the weekend? 📚🍂 . Oh, we are so glad the weekend is here! A few days ago we were on our way to the airport when a truck crashed into us, and now sister & I are stuck wearing neck braces. 🥹 At first it was only me because I did not had the chance to brace myself for the impact (Isabel did), but a day later sister started to feel the strain and our doctor has also made her wear one. We are quite the pair right now. 😂👌 . But thankfully we are alright & we should be off the braces in a few weeks. And now we are just taking it as a sign to just stay home reading & taking bookish photos. 📚😪 And we shall treat ourselves to new books! What books/series would you LOVE to read again for the first time? 📚🍂🤎 . Thinking about the first time we fell in love with books such as Six of Crows, The Iron Fey, The Hunger Games, The Malediction Trilogy, The Bone Houses, A Chorus of Dragons, and so many others that left us obsessed. Would 10/10 love to be able to experience again for the first time! 😩🤎 . BUT then again, we do wonder that if we read now, would these books mark us the same way as back then? What books are you excited to add to your shelves soon? 😍📚🍂 . We have several books on their way to us and we just cannot wait to receive them! One is the anniversary edition of If We Were Villains which is beyond gorgeous. 😍🖤 Two others are The Atlas Paradox & Heart of the Sun Warrior, sequel to Daughter of the Moon Goddess (can’t believe it’s almost out 😱). . We did not receive a lot of bookmail last month but we think November will be much more fun. Since sister made a Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake so we can watch the first mid-season finale of Spy x Family tonight, it would be wrong of us to not pick the Forger Family! 🥺🤎 . 🌸 #bookobsession 🌸 QOTD: is there a book you’re obsessed with? Lately, I’ve been obsessed with this!!! My bestie gifted me two of them and then Fairyloot came out with an exclusive edition and it’s just stunning!!! If you want to see more of it, I posted a reel showcasing it a bit more! Every time I open this book, I fall in love. 😍 Also, I read this with my sister and @dess.reads. ❤️ And you guys, I finished this. I finished this and it has my heart. Oh my goodness. I freaking love this so much. It’s a million stars out of five. This book is beautiful. Not only are the covers amazing illustrated but the story is so enchanting and it transports you into a whole other world that is incredible. The love and fierceness of Mina is incredible and those that become her family is just so incredible to see. Ugh, just go read it. Okay? BOOK REVIEW: The Love hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood Okay before I begin this review I just want to say that this book is cute and absolute fluff and if you don't like it, are you sure what the good stuff is in life anymore? That being said, I adored this book!!! Just everything about it was cute. The witty banter was 💯 I liked olives determination and how despite that sometimes the insecurities fell through the cracks. 😊 Also, the academic jargon!!!! (No it doesn't take away from the book, anyone will get it) it made me miss my own lab 🥲 (never thought I'd say that!!) A fluff book with character development!? Unheard of! Contemporaries usually skip this but this was so welcoming!!! It ticked off so many tropes 😍 🥼fake dating 🥼slow burn 🥼grumpy-sunshine pairing (but he wasn't grumpy towards olive, a change for once 🙌🏻) 🥼height difference 🙃 🥼Age gap There were some cringe moments but easily over looked because this book is fluff!
