"Stating the obvious (to those who have it), 'Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder' is a horrible name.

We don't have an attention 'deficit,' we have unregulated attention.

I feel we need to add '&' to it to emphasize the fact our unregulated attention and the hyperactivity are separate issues.

So, I believe we should change the name to 'Unregulated Attention & Hyperactivity Disorder' (UAHD)

STREAM ANNOUNCEMENT - SCHEDULE CHANGE

This $#!7 with my job is tap dancing on my last good nerve. Unfortunately, I haven't heard back from the jobs I applied to, forcing me to deal with it. For now.

Long-story-short, my back office job was phased out, then the call center job they moved me to next was phased out.

The job they are moving me to this time doesn't start until 4/11, which I won't be paid for because I won't be working. This means I'll be 6 days without pay.

THANKFULLY, the pay period that just ended in March had 12 days in it. If I'm careful, it can last the month.

But ANY emergency this month could be devastating. So my partner and I will have to be careful.

My partner kept telling me I needed to find a new job YEARS ago, but what other job was going to let me have an hour for lunch? I can't go back to half an hour.

All this aside, now I get to the schedule. Training will be Mon-Fri, but production will be Mon-Wed, Fri-Sat. Meaning my days off will be Thursday and Sunday.

So, after I hit the production floor, Saturday streams will end indefinitely until I can either a) get my schedule changed or b) find another job.

On a more positive note, with my having Thursday off, I will have a set day for scheduling appointments. And interviews.

On another positive note, with my being out of work for 6 days, I can use the time for some much-needed self-care as well as job hunting.

I am SICK of the phones. If anyone knows of any game testing, data entry, typist, and/or transcribing jobs out there, please let me know.

If anyone wants a part-time, online, assistant to work for a couple hours in the week, I'm great at getting projects and files organized. If I have to keep them organized, I can't be asked to do much else.

Organizing files maintains my hyperfocus.

In the meantime, there will be a Saturday and Sunday stream this weekend. And even after hitting the production floor, Artist Shout-Outs will still be Sat, Sun, and Mon.

Throughout the following week, I will see about some YouTube videos. It's been a while since I did a "Read Aloud" video. AKA "Let's Read Some $#!7".

For those who are new, it's when I read a PORTION of different books to introduce viewers to other resources pertaining to writing, art, and other aspects of game design.

The Weekend Game Show's goal is to educate, after all.

I'm sure to remember something else I wanted to say later, but, until then, thank you for reading.
