What books have you recently added to your tbr? 📚🍂😍 . Today we felt in the mood to browse Netgalley & see which books were up for request (as if our TBR needed more books 😂). But anywhoo, we did give in to the temptation and requested a few titles! Of course, we cannot wait for Painted Devils (we loved Little Thieves) and we were just reading about A Multitude of Dreams which is a retelling/inspired tale based on one of Poe’s works & it sounds really good! 😍 . Oh but we also got to download Ebony Gate which is pitched as a female John Wick story with dragon magic set in San Francisco's Chinatown (super grateful to Tor Books for auto-approving us for their titles 🥺🤎). . But seriously, so many good books are releasing this year. What are your bookish plans for the weekend? 📚🍂 . Oh, we are so glad the weekend is here! A few days ago we were on our way to the airport when a truck crashed into us, and now sister & I are stuck wearing neck braces. 🥹 At first it was only me because I did not had the chance to brace myself for the impact (Isabel did), but a day later sister started to feel the strain and our doctor has also made her wear one. We are quite the pair right now. 😂👌 . But thankfully we are alright & we should be off the braces in a few weeks. And now we are just taking it as a sign to just stay home reading & taking bookish photos. 📚😪 And we shall treat ourselves to new books! What’s on your October TBR? 🍂🎃📚 . This month we are are reading all the spooky/cozy reads! The Book Eaters is high on our TBR but we are waiting for our second copy to arrive so Isabel & I can buddy read it! 😍 . Then finally one of us is reading The Iron Raven so we can get the second book in the new Iron Fey series. (We keep putting it off to avoid the hurt!) . REVIEW: As promised here is the Review of "It Ends With Us" by Colleen Hoover , a very much recommended book by Bookstagram. Rating : 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ( could literally give a 1000) Being a daughter of a woman who survived domestic abuse, Lily decided to change her life and moved all the way to Boston after her Father's death and became an independent businesswoman. There luckily she meets Ryle Kincaid and immediately connect with them. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened. I am legibly astounded at the riveting power of this Beautiful tale about love , passion, friendship, kindness and the freedom. I personally had taken it as a bookstagram suggestion but, Oh boy!!! I fell in love with every page of this book , every character and literally couldn't stop thinking about this book for days. I really loved the fact how Lily, at a really tender age had the capability to fight back in her life and change the future for her daughter. The chemistry between Ryle and Lily, although shattering and heartbreaking was worth it. Many readers hate Ryle because of his ways with Lily , but I personally feel that since he was diagnosed with a medical condition, he could never have helped his episodes of violence and aggression. He lost both his brother and the love of his life and I feel him! Lastly, Atlas was a true Prince Charming for Lily in this story. He was there for her , even after so many years and helped her out when she truly needed him.
