I think it’s. Good. 😬 it’s not my favorite. I just wasn’t around for when that one David Tennant prod changed everyone’s life ig. It looks really cute tho I should watch it! I played the sextant/friar Francis in a 24 hour production and had a blast.
I’m wayyyy more into Twelfth Night, Othello, even Love’s Labour’s Lost LOLLLL I’m not shitting on Much Ado it’s a great show it just doesn’t particularly speak to me at this time in my life.
I simultaneously feel like a fake Shakespeare Tumblrina for not really gafing about Much Ado or Hamlet but I also am now stubbornly stuck in my ways and sticking to my unpopular shows/my unpopular readings of my shows.
If people want my Shakes Hot Takes I have plenty of them from studying it for a while and teaching it for a few summers. And directing productions and writing adaptations. I’m not the most educated Shakespeare scholar (I haven’t read/watched any histories aughhhh) but I do have enough knowledge to have haughty opinions :3
