aggressively arospec week: arospec headcanons (aroace)

.Claiming characters that are known to date frequently or have a long history of romantic relationships as aromantic is one of my favourite pastimes.
Aggresively Arospec Week: Aromantic Jewish Moodboards
Parker / פארקר
Another character that I pretty much immediately decided was aro. I think Parker being aromantic fits very neatly with her series-long arc. From the very first episode, it's established that she's Weird and Different, and the rest of the crew doesn't really seem to know what to make of that at first. By the finale, even though she's learned more about how people work, who she fundamentally is hasn't changed. She's just found people who love and accept her for who she is, and in the end, the things that make her Weird and Different turn out to be her biggest assets and strengths (this also just so happens to be how the Leverage writers accidentally created the perfect autistic character).
As for her being Jewish, my personal headcanon is that one of her good foster families was Jewish and she converted as a young child. For whatever reason she ended up not being able to stay with them but she still considers herself Jewish. That said, Parker's backstory is one giant question mark so pretty much anything could be true and she'd probably refuse to tell anyone the why/how of her Jewishness anyway. Also I think her not having a Hebrew name (or at least not revealing it) is perfectly in character.
Aromantic headcanons for the main part 5 characters!
For Bucciarati and Giorno, romance is a tool for them more than anything else. Giorno also gets a huge kick out of the attention. People find them attractive and charismatic, it feeds their egos.
Once Fugo's planned out future fell through, he didn't actively seek out romance. He'd maybe wonder if he was gay, or try to get a girlfriend if Narancia or Mista or someone else bothered him about it. He would get pretentious about it, too. He isn't blinded by attraction like "some people" are.
Mista is a hopeless romantic. Movies and books gave him a really idealized concept of romance that he likes the thought of, but in actual romantic relationship he flounders.
Trish also probably cons herself into thinking she's romantically into people. Everyone dreams of getting kidnapped by a group of attractive men, she's living the dream... or something.
Abbacchio is just a very dedicated person and that functions like attraction would for him. He will take what he can get and usually getting more is associated with romance.
Narancia pushes the boundary between romantic and platonic, but not deliberately. It just isn’t a defined line for him and he probably doesn’t care that much. He also has abandonment issues that would factor into how he sees affection.
