OK OK so let me scream about this for a while. Because right AZIRAPHALE IS SO SHY OF WHAT HE MEANS TO CROWLEY. Even when Crowley is dancing onto consecrated ground to save him and his books (his books!) or just being like 'hey do you want to (a) hang out (b) dinner (c) marriage', Aziraphale is hesitant and blushy and fussy and shy and you can SEE his hesitation, does he deserve this? Can it be true? Can someone like Crowley feel like that for someone like little old him? Better hide in a bookshelf quick. What would be worse, being wrong or being right, and having to deal with the fluttery ache of love and joy in his stomach that might eat him up? Except probably he's wrong because he's, well, he's him. Crowley's obviously terrible but also, well, Crowley...
But at this moment, AT THIS MOMENT at the end of all things Aziraphale has to OWN IT.
HAS TO BELIEVE, AND ADMIT, HOW HE IS LOVED
He has to say, in essence, that he knows Crowley loves him more than any-fucking-other-thing in the Universe and Creation, and would be more hurt by losing him than by anything else.
Aziraphale must admit to being seen.
And then of course his voice cracks saying it, because the feeling is 100% mutual and after 6000 years they are nearly out of time to say anything more.

Like... I haven't seen any drama or gatekeepers yet.
Honestly, I don't think I've ever been in a fandom this wholesome. I've seen some shitty fandoms (for example I made a hate account for a character in Ace Attorney and someone told me that they wanted to MURDER me) and yet whenever I see this fandom interact it's always positive.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being civil in the Good Omens community. I honestly love you guys like family lmao.
