I hate exercise, I hate it to my very core. Walking, cykling, swimming, anything that isn’t randomly dancing to the same song on repeat for hours is pure torture. I want to take the bus everywhere! I want to lie in bed and eat pastries all day!
But after struggling so much with uni I decided to try and exercise everyday before I start studying (which means getting up early which I also hate!!) and...well shit.
Not only am I really fucking productive, I can focus soooooo much better. I feel better, happier, more energetic. Not to be one of those people who claim ”diet and exercise cured my ADHD” (yuck) but...oh boy did it make things easier.
If you’re like me and you hate working out. Just think of it as medicine. And don’t postpone it! Do not! I repeat, DO NOT think ”oh I’ll work out after school/work/later” No. Get up. Don’t eat breakfast unless you really have to, (I throw up if I don’t eat in the morning so I grab something like a fruit first) and just do it. Just like you would wake up and take your meds. Just, do it. It’s medicine, you might not like it but It’s good for you. It’s not a ”cure” by any means but it sure as hell makes it a lot easier.
