also. one more thing and then im gone. i feel like weâve greatly overlooked castiel bragging to lucifer that jack would already rather kill him. yes my final promise to your mother was to raise you into a good man. yes im so proud of you wanting to kill your father that ill say it to his face. what do you mean kids arenât supposed to feel like they want to kill anyone?
i love that cas was like âwell son, the beauty and ultimate responsibility of being alive is that you have free will to make your own choices and decide which one is the right oneâ with a knowing fatherly smile and then on several occasions jack was like âiâm gonna use my free will to kill this guy that i hate. i donât even care if itâs the right choice. itâs the choice where he dies and thatâs good enough for me.â and cas is like âwell slugger thats not quite what I meant but I guess I canât judge you too harshly since I betrayed and slaughtered my brethren all those years ago.â
Dear parents: Just because your child doesnât want to show you whatâs on their phone or what they drew or what they wrote it does not always mean they are keeping things from you, sometimes kids just want privacy.
I just sang The Anthem by Good Charlotte to my son to help him fall asleep lol. Perfecccccction!
He fell asleep so quick lmao

Sometimes, in the Haitch household, @mrhaitch and I play 'Random Bag Check' with the kids, which they think is hilarious.
Mr.Haitch corners them, opens their toy bags, asks them if they have receipts for all this, and then when they don't, and he restrains them (affectionately) and calls the police.
The Police (me) shows up, starts 'beating' them without warning, but when they start fighting back I quickly encourage them to take up a 'weapon' (a piece of Hot Wheels track).
Then when they fight back with a 'weapon', I beat them with my own weapon, while shouting 'You all saw him, he had a knife!'
Then Mr.Haitch pins them down, and asks them:
Mr.Haitch: What's the lesson? Come on, what's the lesson? Do you know the lesson? Law enforcement is inherently corrupt. You only had to pay me money, then I'd have left you alone!
Then I make breakfast and we all laugh.
In case you wonder how we're raising our children.
Love,

Hi Gina, happy Saturday. I don't know if you or your sons read The Hunger Games or if you even like the series. I was a fan as a teenager. Today I'm reading the latest book, which is super good, but something I'm really loving is that the author is directly criticizing the media. And how everything we see is never real. Sometimes it's a very common analogy, but if I've learned anything from this fandom, it's that many people still believe everything they see and never question whether it's real or not.
I've only seen the films, but that's nice to know the latest book is good. And yeah, not teaching children the concept of critical thinking, in addition to expecting children to just do what they're told and not to question things, has led to multiple generations of sheep-people.
