(yes, I'm aware I twinkified both Grace and Colt since I used the exact same body for them, it was an accident, I hadn't realized how skinny the body was until I finished with Grace, pls imagine that the twins have some muscle on them, ok, thank you)

First we have: Ryland Grace! Or else: Star Catcher (hero name by planetarybeauty-saturn)

Powers: Lumokinesis (the ability to control light)

Notes: (I can't draw facial hair for the life of me) I wanted his hero suit to have both sun and star themes (since the sun is a star) but I leaned more towards the star themes. His hero suit (like every other hero's) is a mix of the person's preferences, practicality, and eye-catchiness (do you really think Grace would wear latex out in the public? My man is lucky they gave him sleeves [God, I should have pushed past my laziness and drawn the outline of his pecks, WHY DID I TWINKIFY THE TWINS?!]) The baggy pants with the thousand pockets were obviously Grace's idea. He wants to be ready for anything. And hey, you can never have too many pockets!!! (in which pocket are his keys again?)

For his color scheme, when looking at Pinterest for star-inspired hero suits ideas, many of them were very galaxy-themed. And while I love the concept, I opted to stray away from the blues and dark colors, and focused more on the sun/star colors themselves.

I had struggle coming up with a sun-themed mask bc no matter how hard I searched Pinterest for something that was both practical and fancy-but-not-too-fancy, I couldn't find anything bc, well... It's the sun. Ofc every mask was gonna be extravagant. Fortunately, planetarybeauty-saturn came up with a wonderful sun mask design, which was exactly what I was looking for! ^ ^

Secondly we have: Colt Seavers! Or else: Flamethrower

Powers: Pyrokinesis (the ability to control fire)

Notes: I tried to give his hero suit both sun and fire themes, since the sun is heavily associated with fire. Same thing with Ryland, his hero suit is a mix of the person's preferences, practicality, and eye-catchiness (however Colt's is a bit more flashy bc he's a bit of a show-off lol). At first I wasn't gonna give him a jacket, but he looked naked without it and with his suit being red, he gave off Deadpool vibes (looking at it now, it actually reminds me of my third ever Spider-Sona, Flame-Spider... *sighs*). So, I gave him a jacket, and based it after the one he wears in The Fall Guy! Underneath the jacket he's all tight and sleeveless. Colt is now retired from hero work after, well... The "accident" *cough cough*. (Stratt had the tailors add a back-brace in the suit. As a wordless way to say "get well soon". Colt shoved it in the back of his closet during his dark/recovery era. He felt like it was mocking him).

For his color scheme, they lean more towards fire with all these reds and oranges. His color scheme is darker than Grace's (even though I added some white bc at some point it was simply too dark and I wanted something to pop it off a bit). I don't remember if it was intentional so that they contrast eachother or that this was simply the outcome of the final look. Oh well. Whatever. Works for me lol.

I had struggle coming up with a hero name for Colt. I didn't want to name him Pyro bc I already have a superhero oc with pyrokinesis names Pyro from an abandoned oc hero universe I have and I didn't want to give him her hero name. I had settled on "The Ignitor" for a while, even if it didn't really stick. Then a few days ago I had an epiphany. Flamethrower... So obvious... How didn't I see it earlier???

Bonus notes: As you guys may have noticed, Ryland and Colt's hero suits are rather similar with eachother's! While it's very easy to tell them apart, you can see the similarities when they're side to side. One thing is that they both have hoods over their heads. Grace covering the top half of his face contrasts Colt who covers the bottom half of his face (maybe that's not a good idea considering they're identical twins, but oh well). They have similar gloves too, design-wise. While Colt's jacket was more of an afterthought, it ended up contrasting Ryland's big ass pants! And ofc, how could I forget? They're both sun-themed! Also!!! Also something I almost forgot to mention: they have the same shade of orange in their hero suits!!! I had that idea while coloring Colt and I felt so big-brained.

Their similar hero suits come from the fact that they're twins. In this AU, I came up with the idea of Stratt recruiting Grace to replace Colt after he broke his back in a mission gone wrong *cough cough*. The International Hero Institute introduced the new hero Sun Catcher as the now-retired hero Flamethrower's twin brother and replacement while he recovers (as if they're gonna let Grace go if/when Colt comes back from retirement lol). They leaned into the twin brothers thing to appeal to the people and as a way for the public to feel a sense of safety and familiarity with Grace (which is really important when you're a hero and trying to save said public).

And last but not least: Simon Fisher! Or else: The Butcher

Powers: Chlorokinesis (the ability to manipulate plants and vegetation)

Notes: Even though I procrastinated quite a bit on this one, Simon's outfit was actually what I was looking for to draw the most (hence why I drew it last, so that I have more motivation to draw the twins). Unlike Ryland and Colt's hero suits, Simon's villain outfit isn't professionally tailored, and is actually just clothes Simon himself picked up, so it's not very nature-themed or fancy, just practical. (do you really think that C.O.I would bother enough to make each recruiter their own personal villain costume?) While his outfit is very obviously inspired by the one he wore in Iron Lung, I took some ✨creative liberties✨ like turning his scarf into a cloak-thing (those who follow my oc side account might know how much I LOVE drawing shawls/cloaks. They make the characters look so shape.✨ Maybe I should have made it both a scarf and a cloak, now what I'm thinking of it... Fuck), giving him baggy ripped jeans with tights underneath (tights under ripped jeans are sluttier imo, ok?!) and the turtleneck with the sleeve holes for the thumbs (also very slutty imo). Inside the little bag on his belt he has seeds, which during fight he throws to ground to create giant vines to attack heroes with.

I had trouble coming up with a design for the mask. I knew I wanted a mask that would cover Simon's entire face (my man has already been to prison once, he does NOT want to go again, he's careful as shit) but I didn't know what design it should have. I wanted it to be plant-themed but also... Not? Since it would catch the public eye, and that's the least he wants. I swear to God, the only mask design that would come into my head was Casey Jones' from TMNT 2012, and I was so tempted to just copy it, but I refrained myself. I'm an artist. I can come up with my own stuff. I did draw inspiration from Casey's mask though, I think you can see it from the paint around the eye holes. I think I achieved the plant theme by making the mask this yellowish green (I also made the green paint chip in some places bc I imagine he hits his face all the time). At first I was gonna leave the eye holes blank so we can see Simon's eyes, but it looked ugly so I covered them up with the white. But it surprisingly works? It makes the mask give off this eerie feeling. It's not something you'd want to see during the night. I think it really ties off to the whole "Butcher" thing.

And yes, I know he has both arms. Dw, I'll fix that in the fic (a fic I'm procrastinating on... A fic I won't have time to write for the entire next week... I haven't even finished the 1st chapter ToT).

I also drew Simon's axe (a good villain never goes out without their weapon!) and I was gonna post it here too, but then the post would have 10 pictures. And while that is the limit so I technically can still post it, last time I tried to format a post with 10 pictures it kept changing back to default and wouldn't stop until I took one picture out. Eh, it's nothing impressive tbh. Just an axe covered with vines. Might post it tomorrow alongside their height chart.

So today I tripped. Fell flat on my face, it was awful but ultimately harmless. My service dog, however, is trained to go get an adult if I have a seizure, and he assumed this was a seizure (were training him to do more to care for me, but we didn’t learn I had epilepsy until a year after we got him)

I went after him after I had dusten off my jeans and my ego, and I found him trying to get the attention of a very annoyed woman. She was swatting him away and telling him to go away. So I feel like I need to make this heads up

So he goes into the dark bathroom, lights a candle, and says bloodymary three times. Then he screams.

There was actually someone in the mirror. Someone with long dark hair and drenched in blood.

He runs out of the bathroom and all his friends think he's pulling a prank on them. Grace manages to convince himself that it's just the alcohol and his nerves.

The next day he wakes up hungover but he can't get the image of the person in the mirror out of his head. He was drunk and it was probably nothing but he is a scientist and if this was real it would be such an interesting discovery.

That night he plays the game again. He goes into the bathroom, shuts off the lights, lights a candle, and chants the name.

There they are again, bloodymary.

He backs away, pressed against his bathroom door in fear and then the figure looks up at him. Their hair falls out of their face and they say one word.

So it’s clear that Adrian is part of the teams working to keep Grace alive.

But. What if Adrian is on this team because he was already a part of a bigger team working on domes across the planet to protect the live that Erid has with their dimming star making the world colder.

What if Grace wasn’t some special one-time dome user and there are so many towns and nature preserves locked away in these controlled domes to keep the contents safe and cared for.

Rocky saves the stars. Adrian saves Erid. Grace saves the stars and Rocky, Rocky saves Grace and brings him home, Adrian keeps their partner and pet alien safe and happy and cared for in the same way he’s been caring for their planet for over four hundred Eridian years now.
