I saw your first PHM art as the one comparing the saving scene and Rocky and Grace sleeping on erid and my 3d analisis eye just went "the hand. It's 3d" and then I looked at that video for wayyyyyy to long because your composting is magnificent

Hello and thanks! It is indeed 3d modeled (I shared the rocky model I use on twt) and animated - I don't actually do a lot of 2d art these days, blender is my comfort program at this point (but also my irl work program). Funny that - quite a lot of lighting/compositing work in those two shots was throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks, since I only started doing artistic renders for the sake of it in Blender recently after a long break.

I'm honestly glad/relieved people like it, since it's not usually the medium one would see in fandom spaces like this. (here's to hoping I can make more between work and commissions).

I wasn’t sure how active you are here and I didn’t see if you had a strawpage, but I wanted to ask! How do u get the sort of oil pastel look on your final renders?? They look absolutely incredible and I’m still learning 3D modeling right now for animation, so I was curious :D

Hello anon! The general answer for most of these renders/anims is geonodes + compositing + some manual grease pencil stuff (thank you)

Hello! I am your gifter for the DunkBaelor challenge, and I had a question about your prompt. You named four tropes that you would like to see in any of the three art/fic scenarios that you asked for in your prompt. Do you have any tropes of the four that you would prefer to see over others? (I have a good outline of what I want to do that is almost halfway done and touches on almost all the tropes so far, but this specific scenario to me works super well to spend time on certain of the tropes and less of others, so I want to make sure it fits!)
