Bannerfall modern au where instead of rivalling groups the Bannerfall cast are a merged friend group who are all considered ‘troubled kids’ for various reasons (Nom getting into fights, 4c having a theft problem, Sausage doing his whole creepy death thing still, ect). The whole idea is Owain centric, as my ideas tend to be, but this one can also expand into the other characters!
My idea for Owain is that the kotrt is a wealthy family unit where Owain is often blamed for errors due to a mix of him being adopted, the youngest, and Mordred not liking him. Arthur usually kept the peace but after an incident that left Arthur injured (not dead), Owain was blamed once more and very intensely.
The resulting fight was so bad that Owain ran away to crash in Nom’s apartment (the attached blacksmith houses). Now he refuses to contact home for any reason and they only hear from him through secondhand information about him hanging out with ‘delinquents’. His family is VERY worried. Owain is convinced this is the happiest he’s ever been.

can i be honest? i don’t like that concept art for our oc’s for smps becomes the canon look that everyone draws our characters like ;-; i don’t mean for my concept art to be the official “look” down to the details of the outfit. it’s more of an idea.
i like when people take our skins and get really creative with their interpretations. and i hate to see people think concept art means that look is locked in as canon and can’t be imagined any other way.
i want to see other interpretations of my skin, as if you never saw the concept art! i almost didn’t post my concept for the flight because i didn’t want people to take is as 100% accurate canon that can’t be changed or reimagined or even wrong from my own idea.
there’s so much creativity in the minecraft community among artists. i love seeing what comes from your imaginations, and the concept art comes from mine. you guys have way cooler imaginations than me!

the best fanfiction you've ever read was written by a woman in her 40s before she made dinner for her kids. it was written by a teenager after school when they should've been studying for a history test. and a barista came up with the idea while they cleaned the espresso machine and busser fact-checked it on their break and the post-doc edited between writing grant proposals and the nurse apologized for typos in the notes after a long shift and behind every drabble and one-shot and multi-chapter fic there is a person with a wonderful and interesting and chaotic life and it is such a privilege that we get to be apart of it because they decided to do this thing we all share, for fun.
