if im being honest, this semester has been killing me. ive been so busy with coursework and extracurriculars. its been difficult to balance life activities and school, but i started getting the hang of it in the last month. right now is finals week, and i wanted to reflect on the semester. so, here are some highlights

started my job as a student government rep for my school. its my first time in student gov and while its super fun, i find the whole thing to be a bit random and sometimes a waste of time.

had to withdraw from my thermodynamics class :( i registered for the class because its a prereq for my minor. its typically taken by third years but i wanted to try to get ahead. and well, it did not go well..

went to my first engineering conference! i had such a great time despite being nervous initially. i think it was nice to get closer to people in my major while meeting students from other universities.

went out exploring the city more with my roommates and new friends <3 honestly ive been really enjoying my time outside of school this semester! ive had plenty of good eats and seen many cool places. i also made new friends this semester in my major (finally). as a woc, ive felt so isolated in engineering and i kept to myself for a lot of last year. im really proud of myself for branching out and making new friends <3

this week i went to southern california with my family!! had a great time, but struggled once again with balancing my summer class and family fun. thankfully today was my last day, so i finally have the time to make a post! here are some cute things i got from a gachapon shop.. retail therapy is def my fav form of relaxing ૮ ․ ․ ྀིა

this week has been such a blur! i was on a trip out of state to visit some family all while doing my online summer course. it was difficult to balance my time while staying on top of my work.. ended up doing so much homework at late hours ૮ ◞ ﻌ ◟ ა pics include me doing hw in the airport lounge + two cute cafes (waco + dallas, tx!)
