here are some things ive learned in my meagre 22 years of life:
you can basically wash everything on warm/normal settings and it'll be fine
- i once washed all of my shirts on cold (as per the tshirt label instructions) and it cracked a ton of my graphic tees, so do not recommend/beware!
- do separate by lights/reds & darks though, white shit will turn pink/grey if you put it with red & black
most deadlines are fake but you'll feel better if you get it done sooner
- this does not apply to jobs/rolling basis apps tho i think bc i have never successfully gotten a (nonacademic) job and tend to apply near the deadline oops
- but i did apply to several grad programs literal months after their apps closed (via the point below) and got into them
if you fuck something up you can usually get out of it by emailing/talking to the person/people in charge
- people tend to be understanding that other people are human and make mistakes, just be clear + communicative
if you miss people, just reach out to them, its not cringe, its ok, we're all starving for human connection. stop playing social games
people who seem to have their shit together probably are also struggling. no one is perfect, even if you don't see it
having a social life is crucial to being mentally healthy. even if you think you're fine alone, we're social creatures, and need community.
being a functioning human is hard. again, we all struggle with something. don't undervalue your own competence
