It's been a hot minute, hasn't it?

I hope all is well with everyone, and you're all doing fine. Myself?.... It depends.

During the pandemic, I started to ramp up my career as a streamer and ended up working with SEGA Europe doing charity streams in February and June every year, I enjoy doing them and helping out these wonderful causes. Last year, I moved into a home with friends and ended up becoming a guest at Sonic Expo Atlanta (a Sonic the Hedgehog fan convention, they have another in Dallas, Tx). More recently, I've been making YouTube content, with SEGA games and horror games.

Now ... I've been a streamer since November 2013, and only until recently, have I started noticing that, it feels pointless? To me at least? I thought by now that SEGA of America would have noticed me and the work myself and the rest of my team does... But they don't. We.... Don't exist to them. Hell even people like GamesCage and SamProcrastinate didn't know a SEGA Europe team existed, until I brought it up at Sonic Expo Dallas last year to them about possibly working together for a charity event with us.

Neither side exists to the other...

Why? We work so hard to raise aid for events like GameBlast to help SpecialEffect in February and any number of LGBTQIA+ organizations in June.

I'm one of 12 people from the US, out of 40+ Creators on this team that works with Europe and not America, and you think myself and the others would be?... But we're ignored.

And that's why I'm here, wondering tonight if it's even worth it anymore at this point. Almost 12 years as a creator at this point, nothing to really show for it. No sponsorships, no studios e-mailing me to work with me. It feels like I've done all of this for nothing these past decade.

I feel like I'm rambling. And I am, cause I'm just sitting down my thoughts here before I sleep.

I wish SoA would notice us. Even if it's just to say "hey you guys did great, we're proud to have you working with this whole company." but... yeah...
