emo fish boy I drew a while back(basic lore breakdown:heβs a gay siren named Liam who is constantly pestered by a Sea-monster ,named Seam, who thinks they are friends but Liam hates him.he also really likes pearls.)if I have more drawings of hime Iβll sure to add them.if he was Ina show he would be the secondary main character of a drama sitcom that takes place in the ocean.(also in this lore, Sirens lure large prey by replicateing the sounds/movements of smaller injured fish; then attacking their target.they can attract smaller prey by just haveing their eyes open since they are somewhat based on angler fish.they use the sails on their heads and back as sensors to detect any fish near by and can use their tail to stab at them.Liam is basically just your typical siren but with more skin markings and longer tail and sail than your average siren.
I think Liam is very easy to draw because he just doesnβt have a nose.the only hard think about him to draw is the scars and the chest sails.why did I give him scars?they look cool and I can.FREE WILL!I also just realized in the drawing above I either forgot his elbow sails or I just choose not to draw them.probably the first one.a good reason for his scars could be that he just picked a fight with a guy too big for him.Seamβs scars are because he is a guy who seeks danger at every possible moment.(fun fact, I was writing a short story once of them so now itβs cannon that Seam always has a knife with him and used it to tear his way out of a large fishβs stomach; so i guess he would probably does dumb shit like that a lot so thatβs how he got most of his scars.some are just from fishing boats though since he swims to the surface often so steal food or cloths.)
also all teh photos below(except for the ocean centered world map) are some of my old art of these two that I use as ref images when drawing them.if Seamβs scars look inconsistent thatβs because they are since when I first drew him in like 2024/2025 I was in an art block and just wanted to draw an emo sea monster.might draw more of these idiots again soon.maybe.(also when I first drew Seam I forgot only female angler fish had anglers but since thatβs his main feature Iβll just say heβs trans-masc.)
also the markings on Liamβs abdomen are his lower gills, not scars.
