Enjoy the comforting taste of homemade chipwiches, which are made with soft, chewy chocolate chip cookies and creamy chocolate chip ice cream.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. 1.5 quarts of your favorite chocolate chip ice cream.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl with a whisk. Put away. Put butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy. The egg and vanilla extract should be added and mixed in well. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined. Add the chocolate chips and mix them in until they are spread out evenly in the dough. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto the baking sheet that has been prepared. Leave about 2 inches between each drop. Put it in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way. Once the cookies are cool enough to touch, put about 1/4 cup of chocolate chip ice cream on the bottom of one of them. Place the bottom side of the second cookie on top and gently press them together to make a sandwich. Do it again with the rest of the ice cream and cookies. Before serving, wrap each sandwich in plastic wrap and put them in the freezer until you're ready to serve them.
