Did anyone ever have te experience of being scared to like fictional characters because you think that you're so fundamentally useless and pathetic that this amazing person who has been through so much would despise you and hate you even for who you are, or worse, have their entire scope of reality warped by you and be null to the world.

Im serious this was something i actually thought of when i was in like fourth grade listening Mysterious Benedict Society with the rest of my class. And later when i started playing dnd for the first time.

I started reading ORV this year, which supreme goddess gave her inspiration for them to write something so theoretically weird yet so grounded and reflecting on reality. What the fuck did they put in those expired kimbap.

Part of the reason why any reader insert and yume doesnt sit right with me, not on like an ethics level--like what you like i dont give a damn--but just me personally having a hard time reading and interacting with those types of media. A barrier of a character is safe, its not..me
