I learned about Sam Nordquist tonight and I’m crying pretty hard. I don’t understand why people hate us so much and it makes me so unbelievably sad and angry every time one of my trans siblings is murdered… It turns my stomach that he was in a relationship with one of the murderers. He was supposed to be with someone who loved him and instead he was tortured, raped, and killed in cold blood. And he was stuck there for over a month and the police ignored his family’s request for wellness checks and his own requests for someone to help him. The police don’t want to call it a hate crime but what the fuck am I supposed to think when a mixed trans man is beaten raped and murdered by his white cisgender girlfriend. God I hope that poor man is resting easy & I hope he knows he was clearly very very loved

I don’t even care that Lyam is a tiny bit of a Mary Sue sometimes it doesn’t matter because he’s so important to me and also he’s a crabby little bitch who just happens to be the most beautiful and talented person in any given room. My own oc is the reason this heart is beating!!!!

Hits from the kids today include that I drew a guy and one of the students was like hey what’s his name and I said hmmm . How about his name is Dave :) and the student said now you gotta write Dave next to him so I said buddy I’ll do you one better and wrote Dave right on the guy’s shirt. And then because I’m a jokester I told the children that it was the law in the US constitution that every guy named Dave had to wear a shirt that said Dave on it and the kid who started this got a mischievous look in her eye and asked if she would turn into a dave if she wore a Dave shirt, and I said probably not, but thinking about it now if that was the case it would imply some really fascinating things about the legal power of the Dave shirt and the first amendment
