I've noticed a weird thing in my writing flow. I feel at my most creative and productive when something boring surrounds me. I started writing in classes I didn't enjoy when I was 13, making my own worlds because the one around me was so dull. To this day, I feel most creative when sitting in long Zoom meetings or boring training for work.

Does anyone else experience this? Does your mind wander to your art when you are supposed to be paying attention to something else? I find that I can't ever get the same flow state in a silent room as I do in one with a boring lecture.

Had my second ever "Tumblr Dream" (evidence I am not doing well), in which I saw a post I really wanted to reblog but it had an ornate wooden frame around it that was too bulky to fit on my blog, so I'd have to either take off the frame or remove some words from the post to make it smaller. But I was worried that people would be super mad at me for modifying the post.

In the end I removed a superfluous sentence and reblogged it, but then realized now it's ON my blog I could squeeze the sentence back in, so I edited it back in. The post looked identical to the original, but somehow there was still evidence that it'd been tampered with in some way, and I was getting flooded with angry asks like "WHAT DID YOU DO TO IT?", and the OP was like "what the FUCK have you done to my POST????"
