I take breaks from tumblr often, but sometimes i’ll set up my queue or reblog some things here and there, sorry about that

and suddenly i remember that not everyone was twelve years old looking for a new show to watch, only to get incredibly attached to these characters and continue to watch their journey for six years, relating so hard to their characters and their arcs that it hurts

ok so like. i did really enjoy the season. it was the first one since season 3 that i could sit down and watch all the way through without stopping out of boredom every once in a while. maybe thats cause it was so hyped up but i digress.

i’ve been watching this show since it came out so i was satisfied with the way things ended and the way my favorite characters got to settle down and finally live. i do want an arc 3. but i wont be incredibly distraught if we dont get one

the thing that made me mad was just the finale. like, all these stakes, all these possibilities, and it ends in the most boring way possible. so many things setting up: soren getting through to claudia, ezran and zym sacrificing their innocence for the greater good, callum giving in to dark magic to save everyone, rayla sacrificing her own desires and the love of her life, finally becoming the assassin she never wanted to be. AND NONE OF IT HAPPENED. OR EVEN MATTERED. no consequences. dragons saved the day. while i can understand how that happened, it pissed me off.
