i think reading together is one of the loveliest things two people can do. reading out loud to each other, or reading two different books while lounging on the floor seems so dreamy.

for me tender is a very loaded word like it’s quite different from softness…softness is clean and light like cotton…tenderness is softness in the face of pain and shame it’s like that one quote “ I don’t want your love unless you know i am repulsive,and love me even as you know it”… softness is a form of innocence and tenderness is a form of grace…a lightness that can only be present as a result of time/experience and requires memory as a binding force

i’m going to scream i’m so bored all the time but nothing interests me and i don’t have the energy to do anything like i have a list in the back of my head of all this stuff i want to accomplish but when i think about actually doing any of it my brain just like hits a wall and suddenly it sounds like the most unappealing thing in the world
