Its like it says, this is a Slendytubbies Dead Dove blog, because I like putting characters through it.

Asks and submissions are open, but don't walk in here to insult me, it's annoying and a waste of our time.

I'm hoping to find more people also interested in Dead Dove because I want to talk to more people about ideas.

I don't support these kind of things in real life, I'm simply a writer that likes experimenting and getting out of her comfort zone.

Shizuka: Hidetoshi-kun, I know we've been dating for a while but I have something to confess...

Dekisugi: Actually, I do too. Do you want to go first?

Shizuka: Okay. Hidetoshi-kun, I'm sorry but I think I would like to break up. I just lost feelings towards you and I recently started to catch feelings on someone else.

Dekisugi: Oh, what a coincidence. I was about to say the same thing.

Shizuka: Want to be just friends again?

Dekisugi: Of course

Shizuka: So, who is the lucky girl? I'm not going to judge, I just wanted to know.

Dekisugi: It's a guy actually.

Shizuka: Oh, that's okay. We're in modern society and plus, sexuality is fluid. Thank you for trusting me with that information but I do want to know who it is.

Dekisugi: It's Nobita-kun

Shizuka: That's nic- Wait, wait, wait. Nobita-kun as in Nobi Nobita?

Dekisugi: Is their any other Nobitas in this school.

Shizuka: No, the problem is my crush is also Nobita-kun.

Dekisugi: Oh my God, we have the same type but I bet I can get him before you, wench.

Shizuka: Excuse me?! He's had a crush on me since we were 5. I have the better chance and upper hand.

Dekisugi: Yeah, back in fourth grade. We're in highschool now. Plus, I have more time to spend with him unlike you.

Shizuka: What? How? We both have extracurricular activities!

Dekisugi: The teacher assigned me as his tutor. So, he would be spending alot more time with me.

Shizuka: You know what? Friendship over. Dekisugi Hidetoshi, I, Minamoto Shizuka declare you as my love rival. May the best man or woman win!

Dekisugi: Deal, bring it on!

The backgrounds for the entire series were done on black paper, a first for any animated show. It's Batman, which means everything is at night and incredibly dark. So, the majority of the backgrounds were going to be black anyways and using black paper would cut down on the time it took to create all of the backgrounds. Adding color over the black paper instead of the traditional method gave it a much more stylized look that helped make it iconic.

It also forced some other creative choices, such as using an airbrush to do all of the background art. During the early testing, they found that using an airbrush was easier to apply paint with than a paintbrush and that it looked better. Airbrushing let them be more experimental with painting techniques, such as the spattery fades you can see in the "Bane" and "Deep Freeze" title cards above or the soft, deeply shadowed face on "the Last Laugh." The overall effect of airbrushing on a black background is a much darker, moodier vibe than could be achieved with a traditional approach.

Do NOT try to argue with me when I say "cp" isn't the right term. It doesn't matter that predators see it as erotic. It doesn't matter that predators see it as "pornography". You're defending them by saying that.

People who handwave away OOC characterizations with "character development" or "it's a different side to them" are really saying the OOC version is who the characters really are. They don't actually believe in character development because they are fine with the characters being rewritten to always be that way. They don't actually care about the original characterization and just want their OOC wear the original as a skinsuit.
