~Bungo Stray Dogs headcannons~
□ Atsushi and his orphanage director were at a short while really close like family
- let me explain, so in canon, the director said that Atsushi didn't arrive to the orphanage until later on. So in my headcannon, I imagine that Atsushi was very sweet to the director so they became close in under a limit time
- then the full moon happened, Atsushi ability happened. The director was conflicted instead of abandoning Atsushi decided to give Atsushi a chance to ease his curse and hopefully live as a normal sinless human.
- I imagine that many times throughout Atsushi time at the orphanage, Atsushi dealt with many mix versions of his director. One version hated what Atsushi had the other cared for Atsushi. This leads Atsushi to have many conflicting feelings on the director
□ I like to think that dazai personality is design to throw people off, but he also act goofy because he never got a chance to truly act like that before joining the ada
□ I also like to headcannon thay dazai actually gained a bit a weight and some tan to his skin to show he actually living out in the sun.
- like if you put pm!dazai and ada!dazai you immediately notice the difference of dazai looked
□ I like to think dazai for a while was shorter then in port mafja however once he actually started to eat healthy and sleep in ada, he actually hit a growth spurt that made him taller
-btw he always taller then chuuya that never change
□ kyouka totally watches anime shows in her free time.
- one time Atsushi was eating dinner with her, and asked her what type of shows she was watching. Atsushi was thinking she watching a nice show like my little pony. Instead she drops the whole lore of demon slayer on poor Atsushi.
- Atsushi is just sitting there like one of those concern adults when they hear kids talking about what they watch
□ speaking of anime and kyouka, I like to think she also had her and Atsushi be tanjiro and nezuko from demon slayer for Halloween
- kyouka was too embarrassed to tell Atsushi that tanjiro and nezuko were siblings
□ mori feels bit guilty for the way he treated dazai and Yosano as children under his beif care. However he will never fully express it in a normal healthy way
□ ranpo and Kunikida have ongoing fight about ranpo diet
- Kunikida is always trying to get ranpo to eat actually food that not sweets. Kunikida has tried everything from hiding it in the sweets itself to trying to bribe ranpo
- it never works because ranpo always says that diabetes are a state of mind
- Kunikida then spends the rest of time explaining of that medically incorrect
- Kunikida has gone though all 5 stages of grief over this. He always thinking late at night about how ranpo is not making it past his 30s at best and how ranpo has made it this far in life without health issues
□ the reason why ranpo have survived without health issues this long in thanks to number of people
- past: his parents when alive did spoil ranpo however they made sure to actually give safe foods to have to eat
Present: Fukuzawa made sure to give ranpo actual food other then just sweets in private
Future: once poe and ranpo are more rivals on the friendship side. Poe make sure to give ranpo other foods that not just sweets at his manor (bit of ranpoe, it my gulity pressure ship)
- I also like to think that ranpo can eat healthy on his own especially since he 26, and he does occasionally. However he likes messing with Kunikida a lot more
□ I like to think that ranpo and Fukuzawa have a kid and parental figure relationship. They think they hide it well (spoiler they don't)
- ranpo doesn't necessarily consider Fukuzawa his father. There a lot of conflict feelings especially since ranpo did have a father until he was around 13/14 yrs old.
- however ranpo does consider Fukuzawa his parent in some way.
□ Asagiri mention in a interview that Fukuzawa and ranpo relationship were like 'love rivals' in a 'love triangle'. Which is kinda of a bad analogy. I'm going to choose to interpret this as more familial jealously rather then a romantic one
- in my headcannon, while yes ranpo views Fukuzawa as a parental figure. Ranpo is very used to being the only child. So sharing Fukuzawa attention and love is bit hard for ranpo at times
- however after a while ranpo was able to get over majority of the jealousy
