My personal favorite version of “What is this Feeling?” on the stage is the one featuring Annaleigh Ashford and Stephanie J. Block as Glinda and Elphaba respectively, SPECIFICALLY because of this moment right here.

Elphaba mocking Glinda with the “YoUr VoIcE”, and then that goofy dance she does at the end kills me anytime I watch this one.

along comes galinda. who - after spending an entire night attempting to give her a makeover - settles on: ‘actually, you’re perfect just the way you are. i wouldn’t change a thing. except maybe to tuck a little piece of myself in with you, just there.’

and i just think that’s neat.
