Big Hero 6 The Series

Putting the whole “is TTS underrappreciated or not“ argument aside, BH6TS is MOST DEFINITELY more underappreciated than TTS ever was.

Disney doesn’t give a crap about BH6TS (and you’d know that if you people even cared a little), but in comparison at least tries a little with TTS

And don’t any of you dare come at me with your “stop putting BH6 and Tangled against each other“ because I’m only reacting to someone else doing this. I’ll stop talking about this once Tangled fans stop claiming they’re more underrated than actual underrated movies/shows are.

I made some more because they're really fun to make! @bigherosixfeels inspired me with her Valentine's cards, so I decided to create some as well!

But this police arc has been really mundane. It feels underdeveloped and poorly executed. I’m sure there’s a right way to have an arc in a show where the heroes are faced with someone against them that’s not a villain, but it’s a shame that with the villains being (for the most part) so good in this show, that the second arc wasn’t focused on something else. My prediction for the finale remains the same with Trina being a part of it. If that’s the case, it would have been more exciting if she had been focused on a bit more rather than have her off-screen this entire arc. 

So far, the only episode that’s truly made me enjoy the arc was Hiro the Villain. Both plots of the episode were flawless and made it seem like this arc was really about to go further. And then after that, it fell flat again. We know Chief Cruz’s backstory which while I do have sympathy to an extent, it too feels bland. And while these last couple episodes have had some really enjoyable moments, they’re also not pushing the plot along much either.

I’m planning on having my review up for Fear Not soon. I admit, I am heavily notorious for overrating the majority of the episodes. I’ve given the majority of the episodes in this series at least an 8 out of 10. Only 2 have received a rating lower than an 8 and I’ve known for a long while how inaccurate that is. I’d be better off not rating them at all tbh (especially since I’ve done such a poor job at it). As I said before, I hate being critical over a show that I think is deserving of love and praise.
