The time has come for my travels with the Wachowski family. My feelings on the matter are still as they were a few weeks ago. Yes, I am excited to visit somewhere new without the fear of G.U.N tracking me down. But also, I can't help but feel nervous given how ... tumultuous my feelings towards Sonic have been.
I hope spending consistent time around him brings about some sort of normalcy.

If I were lean down and say “unfortunately the big beach ball for some reason fills you with such an unadulterated rage that is beyond human comprehension that you scream until you pass out, so mama had to remove the beach ball from the premises until you can better regulate your emotions” she would simply stare at me like I had 3 heads full of equal betrayal.
So, for now, instead “big ball went night night!”

if someone lets fiction affect them to the point they think bad things in fiction are okay in real life because it’s portrayed as such in fiction, then chances are that—with or without the fiction they consume—they’re already troubled and they need help. but their inability to separate fiction from reality is not the fault of the creators of said fiction.
artists and writers are not their audiences’ parents or babysitters. it’s not our job or responsibility to hold our audiences’ hands and teach them the differences between fiction and reality. it’s not our job or responsibility to censor ourselves just because someone somewhere doesn’t like what we create when we never force anybody to consume the things we create to begin with.
I feel like some people need to realize that the world does not revolve around them. there will always be the things that they dislike, and there’s nothing they can do about that. so they can either ignore the existence of said things like most sane and mature adults do, or they can make themselves miserable and turn themselves into bullies because of it.
