It's always fun when an author claims their work contains no politics, because either they're blatantly lying, or they genuinely think they're telling the truth and you get a lot of insight into what assertions about human nature they regard as so obviously and self-evidently true as to lie outside the political sphere.
"You only like this character because she's a woman!" okay and you hate her because she's a woman, knowing that she has all the traits you would enjoy in a male character.
He knows what's up
big fan of the block button especially when using it feels like this
I haven't seen this version anywhere so I made one!
This flag is pissing off TERFs of course but i am seeing so much colorful JOY from trans lesbians and other lesbians in the notes like I've never seen a set of tags so happy before omg
everyone should reblog the bipoc transbian flag. It should be law.

reading bad media takes online will never compare to the exquisite torture that is trying to have a conversation about basic literary analysis with your own family members
discussing media with people online: can you please put down the greek mythology for a second and actually read the text in front of you
discussing media with your parents:
This is easily one of the CRAZIEST videos I've ever gotten. I was rafting down a river when a Yellow Jacket came, landed on my bright pink waterproof phone pouch, and started drinking from the water droplets that had gathered there.
The most amazing part is how the water droplet magnifies the Hornet's mouth parts, so you get to see them up-close!!!! It was FASCINATING to witness!
Here's some of my favorite still shots from that video:
What do you think? 🥰
This is so fucking funny. Late 90's early 00's syndicated scifi was great.
u need to draw fatter arms it can't all go to the butt and thighs #SORRY
captain olimar: oh no.... i've crash landed on a planet and now my ship is in pieces!!! i only have 30 days to escape or i'll die!!!!

Had an accidentally hilarious interaction with another Black woman my age and her mom at an event today.
She complimented me on my jewelry and said it looked very spidery, and I thanked her and said it is, which is fitting since my name is Anonsee.
She asks what language it is and if it means spider, and I tell her it’s mainly Akan tribe but also heavily through Black diaspora, and that a lot of other Black folks tend to know the name because they grew up with Anansi Tales as kids. She says she’s never heard of them and doesn’t think she read them as a kid.
At this point her mom walks up, and she turns to her mom and asks “Hey mom, are you familiar with the name Anansi?” and the mom goes “Of course! I read those stories to you as a kid!” and the daughter hits her with the “Really? I don’t remember that at all!!”
Cue the mother looking absolutely SCANDALIZED and going “I have a book full of them that I used to read out of to my students! Im reading some to you when we get home later.” and the mom was also absolutely tickled pink to learn my name was Anonsee, she lit up so happily it was so sweet 😭
Bringing Anansi back to our people a step at a time by getting moms to read his stories to their adult daughters I guess 😮💨🥹
No gay has all 5:

- Good relationship with father
- Neurotypical brain
- Ability to top
- Driver’s license
this is a fun post because people will say how many they have in the tags then you get to figure out which ones.
