Drow are feared, hated, and killed on sight. So are vampires. (For a reason, of course, I understand that, but it is a terrifying existence)

Drow have a brutal culture where men are treated as inferior and are used. Astarion lives this every day.

Drizzt is a hero despite all of that, well-known throughout the realms, finding comradery and love.
