Just two Eilistraeean drow enjoying the moon on the water. I had contemplated waiting to share these until after I'd posted some more casual (and clothed) shots of these two but Mog made the very good point that they're Eilistraeeans...being naked as a first impression is very normal. 🙂‍↕️ How am I gonna argue with that? Anyway, I'm so completely normal about this new development to Iggy's backstory. Totally normal about this ship. I have so many ideas from our chats and I hope I can execute many of them in time.

On a somewhat sentimental note Mog became one of my first friends when I started dipping my toes back into the social aspect of fandom and has always been so eager and encouraging of Iggy and her lore. The guidance provided has helped me develop Iggy so much faster than I could have on my own, and I'm eternally grateful for that as someone who really needs and enjoys the escapism.

All this to say it's very special to me that Coran gets to be included in Iggy's story. Love what she's done with his lore and so Iggy's love for him is just my extension of my own, and of our growing friendship. 💜

Funnily enough I took these just before this post went around. So on display is Iggy doing just that. Lightly tickling Coran's chest as both a form of play but also in a way that highlights her appreciation of his masculinity, to uplift and reaffirm his gender without objectifying him. She loves his laugh and he's quite ticklish so easy enough to accomplish. The other pastime is a favorite. Coran being the ceaseless yapper storyteller that he is, Iggy takes great comfort and pleasure in simply listening to him. Often with her ear and hand to his chest to feel as well as hear him speak to her. She is a very sensory person and few places bring her as much joy as being curled up against Coran's chest while he softly recounts a tale or simply tells her about his day. 🥰 It also takes on so much more meaning in the AU where they are reunited and she is then mostly blind. 🥺😭

The only explaining I'll do is on the "First to Confess" section: Iggy and Coran have a relationship when they're younger for a time that inevitably comes to an end, but in that timeframe Iggy is the one to confess most sentiments. She is far bolder and more blunt in her honesty than he is. Things like: "I missed you." (She's a Knight so she is gone a lot) and admission of romantic interest. "I love you." as well, ofc. Later on when Iggy is an oathbreaker turned warlock they are reunited and Coran does a lot of the confessions due to Iggy having reservations because of their earlier fallout. Apologies, accountability, and lots of feelings. It takes Iggy some time to open up again but she is still the first to confess that she missed him and she still loves him. To her, those are facts that have always remained true and unwavering. They just weren't enough on their own to keep them together before. All of her other feelings are held back from being spoken aloud for a time.

Girl still falls right back in it though. They have always been fast-falling and intense. It just takes her a while to say it aloud. So that's why in that section they both get a stamp! Everything else was considered with both their healed personas in mind, mostly.💜
