dni/dnf !

⋆ bigots in general (obviously), anti-shifters, if you shift for any weird and/or nefarious reasons... if you think you'd see it in a dni/dnf, then dni and dnf!

I don't really have lots of ideas abt what I wanna be doing there (other than being a waitress lol), but I just HAVEEEE to!

I've started to try different exercises out (doesn't necessarily have to be for shifting) to keep myself feeling more grounded emotionally instead of getting so in my head. So more on the mindfulness side rather than throughout the day.

I find myself putting it off.. I haven't tried to shift since the middle of April. (At first, it was a needed break, but now....)

I've been working on finding the fun in it and my love for shifting again, which has been helping soooo much. But then, when I think about intending to shift, I feel worry wash over me, and I find myself wanting to avoid it for fear that I won't wake up in my desired place.

It's so ridiculous because I know that avoiding it gets me nowhere!

I've realised I need to do it scared, but that doesn't mean I don't want to stop working on getting over this fear(/letting go of the outcome). Any advice? 😫

I focused on breathing and some counting to clear my head (but only to 12 like 8 times because I didn't wanna focus on numbers too much) while making sure to take long, slow breaths. I really just let myself relax, but around when I was about to doze off (before actually going to sleep), I really paid attention to what I was feeling emotionally about shifting. I had calmed myself, so I wasn't worrying about anything. I felt really happy about it! Like this is that feeling that I've been missing and haven't felt for a whileeeeee.
