I love shifting cause wdym, as soon as I feel uninspired or get bored or just fed up of one reality I can go to a different one ☆
Need motivaton? Watch Moana
haha I'm being so dead serious, I'd never seen the movie (I remember when I came out and I always intended to watch it but never did).
It's my younger cousins favourite movie and I can absolutely see why, it is absolutely incredible and I was literally just crying over how the quality of Disney movies could've dropped so much over the years
But I was also thinking about how the music, the lyrics, the story, the character arc and overall message just really remind me of shifting and it made me really emotional and happy lol
So yeah, go watch Moana <3

Feels relevant to shifting
found this on pinterest :)
I am a shifter.
But mostly I am a teen boy skater in the 90s, who's free and do stupid things with his friends. I am a cowboy, working with my dad and my brothers in a ranch. I am the grey ninja, and I have to mentor Lloyd Garmadon with the other ninja. I am the adoptive son of a mobster, who saved me when I was a kid. I am a traveler with a van and I do crazy road trips with random dudes I meet on my journey. I am a member of the umbrella academy, and I love my family. I live with the Gallagher, it's not always easy but we're together and that's what matters. I survive in an apocalypse, where almost all the population disappeared, and nature is rising again: everything is so beautiful and so green, no more pollution, no more rules. I am everything, I am everywhere. I am.
And I am so much more but I will never be able to tell everything because we are immortal beings, we can literally go in any reality we want whenever we want and it's so easy. There's so much reality that I'm gonna explore, so much lives, so much new journey. We're all going to experience this. We're already experiencing this right now. There's so many things to see, to do, to learn, to explore, to be happy and to be sad about. I take it all, I take all the emotion and I want to experience them all in all of my DR. I take everything.
Anyway, what are you waiting for huh? Why are you still there? Why do you choose to be there? You can shift right now if you want. You don't need subliminal, you don't need methods. You want to shift? Then you shift. That's all.
Never give up on shifting. It's so worth it.

so many dreams about drs and shifting recently <3 all proof my new mindset is working 😝😝
How I Shift ⋆✴︎˚。⋆
You can skip to my "method", but really the mindset stuff may be more important:
Why would I waste my time and energy here acting like my DR self and doing things I would do in my DR if I could just shift and do it there?
This reality isn't inherently More important, but it is still important.
Why would I scroll about my DR on Tumblr when I could go out with my friends? Why would I watch TikTok edits when I could be practising piano?
⋆˚꩜ This isn't a demonisation of "connecting with your DR"; I legit just went on a Downton Abbey movie marathon and started writing for that DR again, but maybe it's an observation of how you're spending your time and energy. Your DR is already all around you and always has been; you don't need to worry about this kind of stuff <3
Some great advice I saw was "whenever you think of your DR, remind yourself you're already there"
On the flip side, time is infinite, and you are consciously immortal, so do whatever you like, babes; relax!
2. If you're like me and have a very scientific/proof oriented mind, I changed 'manifesting' to 'placeboing myself '; it's legit the same thing, but my subconcious/mind just seems to accept a more "scientific" word/explanation. Same with associating shifting with an interest in quantum mechanics (again it legit is that but sometimes we have to do mental gymnastics and sometimes we don't). There are some great videos out there; maybe start with Brian Cox as well as documentaries and TED Talks. Just having more wonder about the 'mundane' or 'normal' things and realising how extraordinary life is could help. If butterflies exist, if we can see a close-by but also extremely far away planet in our sky, then yes, this is real too; nothing is really outside the realm of possibility if you think about it.
❀ I legit sat with my siblings learning my musical theatre audition songs a few nights ago and realised that this is just another reality, a reality where I chose to follow art over sport, or academia (at first anyway)
I started wondering, so where is base/home? Where do I actually originate from? Where do I go to when I'm not here or in another reality?

3. Your ego is so malleable, I don't even really pay attention to ego stuff cause idrc, but one of my fav shifters said, "You changing traits in your DRs is proof that your ego is mouldable".
⋆˙⟡ Even if at your core you are the same person in all your DRs, you're still going to experience invariable differences because you're with different people and in different circumstances depending on where you've shifted to
I also changed what I was story I was saying to myself, I changed my perspective from "i I have been trying to shift for 6 years" to "I am a 6 year shifter, I've been shifting for 6 years now"
Another quote from my fav blog: "stop outsourcing certainty, and stop putting more trust in strangers than in yourself"
This was me, but more for seeing 'signs'. Hearing a song from your DR playlist, or seeing 111, or seeing your car from your DR, it's nice, but that's all it is; it's not a great confirmation, a divine event, it's just an "oh haha cool that's in my (x) DR" and moving on.
♡ Again, thinking of your DR is not a bad thing. My gymnastics DR mindset (where I literally eat anything and everything) has changed the way I eat here. I used to be very fussy, but now I'm more open to trying lots of different foods I previously wouldn't have dared to touch. And when I can't open a jar, I think of my very strong callused hands and 9/10 the jar immediately opens; if that doesn't prove how powerful our assumptions are, idk what does.
Anyway, if you keep acting like you need to be guided, you will stay stuck. Start trusting yourself, god dammit.
I'm not saying circumstances will never circumstance; every reality, no matter how perfect (in my experience), will have its off days, its days where nothing seems to be going your way
Go outside, take some deep breaths, do a short affirming session (legit just "I'm a calm diva cause I already have everything I want" and MOVE ON. IT IS NOT YOUR IDENTITY IF YOU DO NOT IDENTIFY WITH IT
4. THE FEAR!!! (great Lily Allen song btw).
Oh brother, trust me, I know about this one. I would literally be falling asleep and then jolt awake because my stomach was flipping and I was shit scared, oh my lord! I started experiencing this in the later years of my shifting journey, when I'd fall asleep with calmness and certainty and then BOOM I did not wanna do it anymore lol. On the one hand, I didn't want to acknowledge it, speak it into existence, make it become a problem. On the other, I had to probe a bit deeper and realise what I was scared of. I knew I wasn't "leaving" or "going" anywhere really, because at my core I'm just consciousness, I'm just awareness, and it's my surroundings changing, so technically it wasn't that.
⟡ I realised that my fear was: "what if I shift and I'm scared and I don't like how it feels or want to be there and then I've wasted 6 years of my life"
Well babes. Let's answer that: if you shift and decide you never want to do it again, then that's absolutely fine. Because you've done it. You've pushed past your fear and achieved the goal you set yourself years ago through persisting, and that in itself is something to be proud of (especially since you are so impatient and feel a need to prove to yourself that you can not give up something when it's hard). And if you do it now, then at least you won't be "wasting" (I use that word very loosely because there's so much I have learned on my shifting journey) another 6 years trying to shift. It's actually quite a freeing realisation that you can enjoy the idea of your S/Os or the TV shows you watch again with no strings attached. You can focus fully on what you want to do in this life. And you have your whole life to come back to shifting whenever you want if you choose to do so.
: ̗̀➛ So take some deep breaths, tell yourself you are safe, and do it scared. It might be shocking or terrifying, but fear can only hold you back if you think it will.
Maybe don't even acknowledge it, know it's there and move on, stay concentrated on your goal. The fear might pass; it might not, but hey, one way or another you're doing this.
(Also, my blunt perspective was that I'm gonna die one day and become pure consciousness again, and I'm shit scared of that, so I might as well get a hand on this and what it feels like to just be consciousness now lmao)
₊˚⊹♡ The 'Method'
Once I realised that methods don't make you shift; they just get you to the mindset or whatever, I focused on what I actually like.
I don't like counting; I just want to be there and be done with it. In other words, I embraced my impatience and made it work for me
When I was younger, I would imagine scenarios and make up stories in my head to get to sleep, or I'd just pretend I was sleeping somewhere else
Technically, I already had the method from my younger self, just not the intention
So I just continued to do what I've always done

I prefer to shift in the afternoon/evening/or night just because it's quieter and calmer; I'm usually finished with my business for the day or feeling tired, so I'm already in a nice state.
I love meditating; my mum made me start doing it before I even knew about shifting, so I'll sit in my chair or sit on my bed and put on a 15-20 minute meditation (I'd say starting out, this was the sweet spot for me to get really calm, focused, and introspective but with practise 7-10 mins is enough sometimes even just 1-2)
I start by acknowledging where I am and where I next want to be, and then I just think about what I'm seeing in front of me: if I opened my eyes right now and I'm in my DR, what would I see? What's around me? (I've learnt that I'm a very, very visual person in general, not just when it comes to shifting). I also feel things - listing stuff from my gymnastics DR cause that's where I'm most consistently shifting to atm. My duvet on my bed, my hand between my mattress and bedframe, my hand under my pillow, my back on my wooden headboard, the picture frame behind my bed, my iPod shuffle in my hand, my wired earbuds in my ears, my water bottle on my nightstand, my iPhone 4 or whatever it is lol.
✽ I might also 'imagine' mundane scenarios, such as sitting in front of my mirror on my pink fuzzy carpet and doing my makeup. Not necessarily focusing on the sensations, just acknowledging the feeling/vibe of doing those things.
And then I just let it all go, let my mind wander, observe where it goes and shift or fall asleep with knowing, because there's nothing more to do or think. (can't lie sometimes I just think about my bed and what I'm doing the next day and then go to sleep, like it's literally that simple cause I have certainty)
My most common "symptom" when shifting awake is flashing lights or my vision getting brighter, and I also notice a raised heartbeat, but that's not so common anymore because I'm used to the process now.
If I don't shift or if I get bored, I just set my intention to shift when I go to sleep and either go about the rest of my day if it's the afternoon, or lie down in my bed and go to sleep then and there lol.

having “good” shifting attempts again mwah we’re so back
