i saw someone complaining that adora and glimmer patched things up too quickly after glimmer was rescued and that it wasn’t “fair” that bow got to be angry and adora didn’t, but adora literally says it herself that bow was too wrapped up in trying to get glimmer back that he never let himself process everything that happened. adora had been at odds with glimmer for weeks, months, and all she had been doing was overthinking and processing, and her and glimmer dragging out their respective pain for so long is why they blew up at each other in the first place. that’s exactly why they made up so fast because they realized how stupid they both had been. bow on the other hand was occupied cleaning up after the two of them. if he’d been the one to just immediately make up with glimmer and adora the one to keep dragging it out literally no character development would’ve happened for any of them.
