This has been an exceptionally miserable week for me

Generally speaking, I have a hard time taking TVC book fans seriously who posture that we can just completely divorce everything all the vampires do from the context of humanity bc they're not human. For one because I think it's absurd and two, the books are VERY heavy-handed in the language used to communicate essentially the same thing, like the people who got mad that they have sex in the show when the way drinking someone else's blood is often described near identically. It reminds me of biblical literalism lmao

I love that video that's like: "divorced dad getting confirmation bias AI therapy" bc it doesn't seem too far removed from when men generally go to therapy and come out worse
