You are beautiful and wonderful and the event will be better because you're there.

Most of the people there are just as nervous as you are. You're gonna say something you think is unbelievably awkward (they won't notice). yesterday i quit my job due to mistreatment from management. i was hoping to have a lot more time to figure things out before it got to this point, but things hit a fever pitch and i had to get out of there. i'm finding myself back at square one very suddenly, a lot more disabled than i was last time i had to job hunt, and frankly i'm. scared :')

i'm very thankful that my partner, their parents, and our roommates are willing to be flexible in helping cover some of my expenses while i rest and recover and find a new job, but i still need some extra support to make ends meet.

trying to build up savings so i can pay rent and our utility bills over the coming months is my main concern right now. any help at all is deeply deeply appreciated ... even just reblogging helps a ton. thank you all 💖

i currently have enough money in my bank account to pay for rent this month, but we need to get groceries this week and the utility bills are coming up as well.

setting my goal for making rent since i'll most likely have to pull from what i currently have saved to pay for everything else:

You know what IS an important issue? Getting called a fucking birthday boy. They get all hands on deck about it. They will write VERY long posts about how important it is you not use it, and that anyone who does must be punished as severely as possible

There's only one explanation. The lives of trans women are so worthless to them, so fucking disposable, that a trans man getting invalidated is actually more important to them. That's how these people, who demand we view them as family and allies, who think we should be ready to die for them, view us.
