Yes people are trying to smear Platner. This is called Oppo research and it is something every candidate faces. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using Planter past actions against him and I actually think voters deserve to know how fucked up he is. Stop acting like basic normal campaign stuff is oppression. When you run for office people are going to look into your past, and if you have a fucked up past they are going to use it against.
