Maybe this is an unpopular hot take, but I think a good monster girl design should struggle with day-to-day life in a human world. If your monster girl can live a normal human life where her greatest inconvenience is wet dog smell or people assuming her tail is fake, you need to mix more monster in your girl.
Harpies who can't write or type or open most containers with their wings. Werewolves who worry about hurting someone if they get overstimulated at the wrong time. Minotaurs with digestive systems and metabolisms which require grazing throughout the day, not the three big meals humans are used to.
Lamias who have to stay home in the evenings and during cold months to stay warm, otherwise their muscles stop working right and they get stranded. And they're sick of their human friends suggesting they get some kind of tail sweater. It wouldn't help, the problem is that their body doesn't produce enough heat to begin with, and anyways a tail garment would get in the way of their rectilinear locomotion, and there's no way a sweater would survive being walked on in the first place. It feels like they don't actually care about you being stuck at home whenever they go out, they just want to feel like it's not their fault they never see you.
If your monster girl can't be read as some kind of disability allegory, you're doing something wrong.
Messing with her design a bit, seeing what sticks
Sending this as an anon cause it's a very vulnerable story.
What scares me most about ISFF's rapist defense and claiming "all trans women will be accused of rape at some point" personally is how vulnerable trans women, especially newly transitioned trans women are to assault.
A bit of a personal story on why I feel this way.
When I just started HRT I was invited to a party with my partner at the time and that was the first time I tried LSD. I felt really overwhelmed and went outside to isolate and try to get my head on straight. One of the partygoers came out to check on me and we talked for a bit and I felt really seen in that moment which felt nice. Later on I was still uh intoxicated? I guess that'd be the word and they invited me to hang out on the upstairs loft area. We chatted for a bit and they asked if I wanted to cuddle which I consented to. What I didn't consent to was them touching me in a sexual manner because, mind you I was still intoxicated, I was partnered and monogamous at the time. I was extremely overwhelmed and paralyzed and ended up letting it happen because at the same time it kind of felt good in a weird way? As a trans woman I felt super insecure and worried about how people would react to me or if anyone would be attracted to me so it felt weirdly uncomfortable but validating at the same time? maybe that sounds weird. Anyway, afterwards I felt really ashamed and unsure what to feel or do. Later I'd even get into a relationship with this person and they'd spend a lot of the time we were together groping me and stuff when other people weren't looking and I let it happen because, hey, at least someone wanted me. After I was discarded for someone else I was genuinely heartbroken and when I talked to friends about that person they told me that I was assaulted and that person eroded my boundaries and exploited my insecurities while I was vulnerable and it took me a long time to come to terms with that. I tried to give my most generous interpretation of what happened and they told me, no I was intoxicated, partnered, emotionally vulnerable and they used that to overstep my boundaries. I know on some level it's on me for not seeing that and letting those things happen, but they fully knew what they were doing and exploited that.
Idk maybe this story is stupid and maybe I'm just the idiot here but what scares me is that, I can absolutely see how similar things could happen to other transfems who are scared they'll never be loved or desired after transitioning and with the way ISFF and others around her are so hypersexual with other trans women, especially newly cracked eggs I wonder if they are doing exactly this. There's nothing wrong with being sexual of course, but when you're so afraid no one will want you, it's easy to pretend abuse isn't abuse because at least someone wants you.
.
It’s okay if you love me. You’re allowed. But you have to promise to hate The French.
Shut the fuck you stupid rat. You AFRE (ANTI-FRENCH-RACISM-EXEMPT) BITCH. ALWAYS THESE AFRE VERMIN TEARING INTERNATIONAL Relations T O S H R E D S
Stupid worthless britfab cunt. There is no timeline in the multiverse where you're not some weird version of white like "German" or god forbid Quebecis (br*ts appropriating French culture) . Go fuck yourself.
We literally gave the international community everything it has today, and that's how we're rewarded?

nothing will make me click off a recipe faster than "and the best part: only 250 calories!!!" ONLY 250???? I'M TRYING TO HAVE THE ENERGY TO LIVE. YOU NEED THOUSANDS OF CALORIES PER DAY FOR THE MOST PART. why would I ever in my life make a dinner that doesn't contain enough energy to sustain my whole Being Alive Deal. 600 at the absolute minimum or I close your stupid website
the situation with harry potter is kind of unprecedented in some ways imo because it is maybe the largest media franchise in history to be created & owned by a single person who still has direct creative control over it. who is also a billionaire with significant cultural/political influence. like the usual "no ethical consumption under capitalism" type excuses shatter on impact when the bigoted author in question is logging onto twitter every day saying explicitly that when you buy the tim hortons ravenclaw donut she is using your donut money to fund the genocide of trans people. like with big franchises usually there's at least a little more diffusion of responsibility than this
i think the best way to understand how transmasc erasure relates to misogyny is. you know when a new movie or show comes out and people get furious about how they made the female character an ugly hairy butch dyke, when in reality they just made a conventionally attractive woman with short hair and makeup and a normal amount of peach fuzz?
how do you think those people same people react to an actual ugly hairy butch dyke? do you really think the primary victim of this kind of vitriol against percieved-female masculinity is conventionally attractive, gender conforming cisperi women?
it's not a coincidence that the patriarchy cultivates disgust and violent hostility towards perceived-female masculinity, while also often refusing to actually depict it or discuss it publicly. the hatred is there. the target is never made obvious. its on purpose. stop taking everything the patriarchy says at face value.
like if you can understand that misogynistic cis men will get genuinely upset about princess peach wearing pants or w/e what do you think they feel about people they see as women cutting their tits off and growing a beard. be fucking for real. some of y'all are living in a funhouse mirror world where misogyny gets less aggressive the more someone perceived as female fails to fulfill patriarchal gender roles. and it's because you have internalized transmasc erasure and anti-transmasculinity.
There is no liberation without acknowledging our most vulnerable. If you, as a global northern transmasc, do not stick your neck out for your global southern brothers, you have no business in this discussion.
i think most people accept the idea of "you don't control who you're attracted to" in terms of being gay but imo it can go further. like if you're not attracted to men, but you happen to find a transmasc person attractive, i dont think thats inherently transphobic if you acknoweldge that your attraction is incongruent with their identity. you dont need to run yourself in circles creating qualifiers for your sexuality when we live in a world of infinite gender identites. it's not like you have an inbuilt radar that tells you whether that hot stranger at the bar is a woman or not. man who kissed a twink that turned out to be a butch lesbian that thought he was a butch lesbian. etc.

A small compilation of posts from the latest trans twitter discourse. I haven't bothered to screenshot all of the most viral tweets, but also I think it's important to include a lot of the smart ass replies to really help you simulate just how many people are going under black posts and asking "well, what even is racism really?" And if you'd like to know, one of the largest black trans women on twitter was harassed off of the site. No she did not do anything in particular, just posted an image of a sign she didn't make herself that claimed white trans people oppress black trans people (referring to I believe the silencing of a black trans woman who was slated to speak at the protest but was kicked off last minute. @/septembersister, If that's accurate.)
More in the next reblog.
I don't think it ended up in the screenshot but the scenario of the trans bipoc sex worker they were called sex pests in a reply. Victryena was harassed into deactivating.
This is why white feminism is so dangerous. You have to understand intersectionality, you have to listen to the black and brown trans people in your communities, you have to give them space to speak or you create places where it is less socially risky to have profited off of racism than it is to be black.
I wonder how many times I can reblog this to add more posts? Until we have an anti racist trans community, we do not have a trans community.
I keep forgetting I can only add 10 screenshots at a time. There's so many of these posts. Seeing more and more people claiming this isn't happening as well. It is violent to call someone a racist, it is not violent to be racist. TWOC exist to be used as tokens for discourse, but I would never ever center their issues. The TWOC who are being actively silenced in real life and online don't matter, MY feelings were hurt! I have struggles!
Sorry if there are any duplicates, its getting hard to keep track.
I think posters who are attempting to swing back on this conversation claiming this is an organized attack against trans women and fems are willfully ignorant. The sign does not name transfems. The sign is in defense of a trans woman. The vast majority of people making this about trans women are trans women posting racist bullshit. It's not my fault they are trans women. My go to search has been 'white trans' as well as off of my feed. Klansmascs and klansgender nonbinaries are also a plague on our spaces that keep us from community or action, but to dismiss this behavior as a psyop is to engage in apologia for racist communities and erasure of transmisogynoir.
A black trans women and a asian trans women have been harassed and silenced by white transgender "allies".
Racism is a "personal grievance". Racism is a "niche cultural issue." Racism takes up all the air in the room and addressing it is hampering REAL action. Antiracism is "liberalism".
The most disgusting idea I have seen thrown at Vic, who is an asian trans woman, is that she is weaponizing racism or the struggles of TWOC/TPOC. Absurd as an idea of that is it makes me furious that we as a community continue to use the statistics of violence, sexual assault, and murders of black trans women to push for trans rights but when black trans women attempt to discuss racism they face backlash like this. We have tokenized the idea of the black trans woman as a silent victim, the emblem of transmisogynistic abuse, and continue to deny her her struggles lest she be masculinized and deemed an oppressive force herself.
Victry's racial identity is also important. As an asian woman and due to the racist misogynistic associations we, largely as American and Europeans, fetishize the 'natural femininity' of Asians. Her dysphoria is invalidated, she has had an 'easy transition', her sex work is weaponized as equivalent to racial violence. For those who haven't followed along, she returned to twitter with an eloquent statement I will add here.
I think its also important to notice how many of these creeds attempt to call on ones marxist values and position TPOC and POC as welding imaginary economic power over white victims. Sex work is continually used as a bludgeon (perverted sexually deviant TWOC are whining when they reap monetary gain vs white trans women as the victims of sexual violence forced to participate in survival sex work are being looked down upon by rich TWOC who never have to experience sexual violence to benefit)
For every singular person rolling their eyes and proclaiming their oppression has tuned them into the concept of suffering, that their experiences make them the true savior of the oppressed masses who doesn't NEED to ever listen to another group, theres 10 more replies 'just wondering' why we 'even bother to see color', or if antiracist action was CIA funded to erode leftist unity, and all of them are trying to make this exclusively about trans women. It's insane.
It genuinely does NOT matter that your post discussing this is addressing racism among the entire community, I only had room to include one of these independent replies/quotes, but there is not that much of an independent push to attack white trans women it's all shadowboxing or virulent racism. We need to purge 4chan from our community
A couple more to close this out.
Racism is trivial. What even IS race? These rich blacks are speaking over fragile abused white trannies. Racism is a niche issue, you're distracting from actual problems. Calling organizations racist is too aggressive, you can't speak here. You're being inflammatory. You're not showing enough nuance. How was I supposed to know theres a victim when all your political slogans are so mean and violent? Discussions of race is a CIA psyop meant to dissolve the left. I'm angry you called me white and this is YOUR fault. Calling me racist is the justifying transphobic violence. You're equating me to a police officer murdering black people right now! YOU support trans peoples deaths because of the color of their skin! I'm not racist! YOU'RE racist for noticing race!
All of these arguments are deflections and self victimization to avoid actually understanding your place in society. If you so uncomfortable with acknowledging race that you lash out violently against TWOC when they attempt to discuss it, you are a racist. I resent any attempts to take this discussion of racism within trans and queer spaces as a smear campaign.
The way every single one of these tweets is proving the sign correct...
Jesus fucking Christ what the hell...
“It is troubling to see that attitudes towards gender equality are not more positive," said Julia Gillard of King’s College London.
>Particularly among Gen Z, our data shows an interesting duality: they are both the group most likely to agree that women who have a successful career are more attractive to men but are simultaneously most likely to agree that a wife should always obey her husband and that a woman should never appear too self-sufficient or independent.
Incredibly stupid things are happening
I know these two things seem contradictory, but there’s nothing a conservative man loves more than to tear off an angel’s wings. There are plenty of women that would willingly choose the obedient SAHM lifestyle, but these kinds of men always seem to go for the opposite. Why? Because it’s a power play. There’s no need to break a horse that’s already broken, and that would do nothing to validate that man, his ego, and his place in a world he sees as designed for him.
Another factor is that these men avoid dating conservative women who already want the lives they want them to have because those women's standards are too high. Specifically, such women expect to be the obedient stay at home mum, but they also expect their men to be the masculine ideal from the other half of the equation -- they tend to look down on their men if they cry, they expect them to be able to financially provide for the household, they want them to uphold their end of the bargain. You see this again and again in groups of conservative men who go out of their way to date liberal women; there is a power play, to tame someone untamed and bring her into line with his expectations, but there's also her lack of expectations of him. They want a woman who will do all the household and keep the home but ALSO will not reject him for not being able to afford to finance the family alone. They want a woman who'll respect and obey him but ALSO be fun and relaxed and let him show whatever emotions he wants. They want the Perfect Trad Wife who won't expect him to be the Perfect Trad Husband.
You see the same thing in conservatives who complain that all their leftie friends are abandoning them, but who won't just hang out with right wing friends instead. They don't want to hang out with other righties because a group of righties quickly becomes judgy and hateful and socially competitive, and is only fun to hang out with when they want to vent, whereas their leftie friends were more relaxed and fun. They want license to be unpleasant and expect unreasonable things of others, but want the people around them to be pleasant and not expect unreasonable things of them.
We have some excellent commentary here, but I want you to keep in mind an adage that will serve you well on the modern internet.
"If something immediately makes me feel anger, repulsion, or joy, with even a simple blurb, it's probably manipulating me."
First off, Newsweek is hardly an unbiased source these days. The majority shareholder is Dev Pagrad, is exceptionally wealthy, and has been repeatedly pushing newsweek to be an arm of the right wing's propaganda machine. It is HARD LINE far-right, Anti-trans, anti-woman, anti-immigrant, anti-science To cite the Southern Poverty Law Center (by way of Wikipedia)
In November 2022, the Southern Poverty Law Center reported that Newsweek had "taken a marked radical right turn by buoying extremists and promoting authoritarian leaders" since it hired conservative political activist Josh Hammer as editor-at-large. It noted the magazine's elevation of conspiracy theorists, publication of conspiracy theories about COVID-19, views such as support for a ban on all legal immigration to the United States and denying adults access to trans-affirming medical care, and failure to disclose potential conflicts of interest in the content published on Hammer's opinion section and podcast. https://web.archive.org/web/20221106005834/https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch/2022/11/04/newsweek-embraces-anti-democracy-hard-right
Newsweek, when even linking to the study it cites, doesn't... actually link to the study. It just links to newsweek's "study" tab. It does MENTION the study, which allowed me to track it down. https://www.ipsos.com/en-uk/almost-third-gen-z-men-globally-agree-wife-should-obey-her-husband IPSOS is a MARKETING FIRM, whose CEO Jean Laurent Poitou, was the former head of Accenture, under whose leadership, sure did a lot of fraud, engaging in tax avoidance, and other such conservative-leaning behaviors, and who generally is affiliated with the traditional right. Let's add another one. The group "Global Institute for Women’s Leadership at King’s Business School, King’s College London" just so happens to be at the school that the Current CEO of newsweek is not just an alum of, but is a major contributor to the funding for. It's always weird when something extremely polarizing comes from, a group that's directly funded by the CEO or owner of the conservative newspaper that's publishing it, as well as from research done by a Marketing firm in the pockets of wealthy conservatives! Funny how that always seems to happen! But if we actually look at IPSOS's study, you'll see that a lot of the numbers have been gently massaged and their methodology is EXTREMELY opaque. After all, they're not a scientific institution. They're a MARKETING FIRM. The biggest conclusion if you read their own paper, is ACTUALLY, that MOST PEOPLE seem to hold progressive views on women's autonomy, but think that THEIR COUNTRY still majority holds draconian views on women's autonomy. Things their own study says:
A Majority of Gen Z believes that women shouldn't "always obey" their husbands.
A Majority of Gen Z has concerns that their society holds draconian beliefs about women.
What the results of the SPIN on this facts, as well as how many in the comments are reacting, is actually perpetuating the Traditional Right's views on Gender and Marriage. I need you to understand that it actively benefits the traditional right when you lean into gender essentialism and believe that Men Are Evil. That Men Are Monsters. It makes the default assumption of men be that they will always be predators, meaning that when they DO do something predator, nobody's surprised; well that's just how men are; when he finds the RIGHT woman who can Tame Him, then he'll behave; that's the duty of a woman after all; to put up with men abusing her until she finds one who is the Right One, who she can handle. What this article ALSO does, is scare progressive women, scares queerfolk, scares young folk, and makes conservatives feel emboldened and empowered. You need to ALWAYS, ALWAYS, remind yourself: "If something immediately makes me feel anger, repulsion, or Joy, with even a simple blurb, it's probably manipulating me." And more than that, you need to remember the follow up:
WHO BENEFITS FROM MAKING ME FEEL THIS WAY?
Extremely fucking stupid bc genuinely who cares. Walking sticks are literally for anyone. They help you when you walk around. Perfectly healthy and abled bodied people use them while hiking because they just work.
And what if it was just a fashion thing? It used to be trendy. It gives your outfit a different vibe. Experimenting with fashion is fun, there's literally zero things wrong with using a cane because you like the way it looks or how it makes you feel.
Every single person choosing to use a mobility aid in public normalises their use, and makes it less likely for me to get harassed out there. It just becomes a regular thing you see while out in public. And that's the exact thing ableist TERFs like Stock are actually against - Not even mentioning the absolutely obvious misogyny here.
Covid was a mass disabling event. It continues to affect many, many people. Denying reality and gaslighting disabled people will not make us go away
They're more gotdang worried about nonexistent "social contagion" than about actual *physical* contagion, or about helping people feel better.
hey. what are those "vague syndromes"? could we perhaps think of any reasons why women may end up undiagnosed or misdiagnosed? i wonder where the urge to dismiss symptoms and illnesses that these women have come from? could it even be the exact same reason why doctors arent getting them a diagnosis in the first place?
"the Epstein pedophile class" look i know bourgeoisie is hard to spell but like "the ruling class" "the 1%" "kyriarchy" we have so many pre-established options for how to talk about the class that owns the means of production that don't make you sound like your favorite book is the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. why are we wasting the opportunity to push people towards socialist explanations for societal suffering and exploitation by talking like fucking Alex Jones. get your shit together
Calling people “bourgeoisie” is not impactful to the “average” american voter. Pointing out that the ruling class is basically all complicit in the child sex trafficking ring run by a Mossad agent is more effective agit prop. It shouldn’t be the ONLY thing you do, but the phrase has utility
note how i also included "the 1%" which was popularized by the Occupy movement and is a pretty simple and accessible way of describing the ruling class in a way the """"average american voter""" can immediately get. note how literally the first sentence of this post is [joke about the word bourgeoisie being inaccessible] [pointing out that there are other words that we can use]
i really do not think the utility of the phrase is worth it. it is entirely about going "aren't the ruling class evil disgusting satanic sex freaks??? isnt the reason rich people are bad is because they are gross (Jewish) inhuman monsters totally unlike NORMAL people???" not about anything to do with the actual reason there is a ruling class or how the ruling class actually functions. its a disgust-based approach that i do not think is conducive to actually building a productive political awareness. and i cannot fucking stress enough how this is the exact language that antisemites use, and so using this language means that antisemitic conspiracies can flourish far easier in leftist spaces and can be further normalized.
the point of this post is that there are many ways we can talk about the ruling class that doesn't make you sound like you are in fucking QAnon. we are allowed to have a backbone and not take the easy road when we know there are better options available.
Idk comrade I think its pretty fucking disingenuous to suggest that using a reference to the very recent and ongoing sex trafficking ring that large portions of the ruling class at LEAST turned a blind eye to, if not actively participated in, is “disgust based.” I think it’s moral outrage based. When monstrous behavior occurs it’s normal to be outraged and righteously angry. It’s also pretty wild to insinuate that talking about Epstein’s sex trafficking ring or his connections to Mossad is in any way antisemitic. Like… people should know if their politicians are possibly being blackmailed by a foreign government
Its not that talking about the sex trafficking ring is antisemitic. Its the phrasing of the ruling class as "the pedophile class" when antisemitism has long depicted the source of societal problems as a shadowy Jewish ruling class which preys on innocent children. and also that defining the ruling class around pedophilia is simply not conducive to getting people to understand how capitalist patriarchy is directly responsible for this.
i'm not saying don't talk about Epstein or the sex trafficking or Mossad. i'm saying don't call the ruling class the "Epstein pedophile class" out of concern for leftist causes being co-opted to promote blood libel and that distracting from what should be our actual goals. it is such a small decision we can make to ensure that we can talk about the ruling class without contributing to antisemitism and creating opportunities for antisemitism to hide behind plausible deniability and become normalized.
additionally, we really do need to be careful with how we talk about Epstein because people do focus more on the disgust reaction of "these individuals are perverted monsters" instead of the social causes of sex trafficking and child abuse and the exploitation of society at large. people have been making this criticism for a while. that's part of my problem with this language as well: "Epstein pedophile class" communicates very little about the actual power structures at hand, compared to "ruling class" or "the rich" which at least point more in that direction, instead of pointing at "pedophile" when "pedophiles" have long been used as a vague boogeyman that distracts from talking about real issues. this was exactly what happened in the Satanic Panic; while the feminists of the 60s had pushed for child sexual abuse to be understood in a social context of patriarchal family dynamics and emphasized that abuse came from within "normal" families, the Panic emphasized foreign, evil pedophiles who attacked "normal" families from the outside.
its not that the Panic wasn't "moral outrage based." there was obviously moral outrage. moral outrage and disgust are not mutually exclusive; in fact, they often go together. the reason i say it centers disgust is because it puts the emphasis on the idea of "pedophile" as this dangerous, deviant Other that people have a visceral disgust response to, rather than putting the emphasis on the systems which allow this violence to occur and thinking critically about how the normal, comfortable, familiar status quo directly led to and justified the sex trafficking, rather than it arising from the intrinsic evil of these select perverted individuals.
back on antisemitism, see this article:
In the many emails between Epstein and his Jewish friends, we see them swap chauvinistic myths about Jewish superiority alongside intimate secrets, corrupt favors, and advice on finding Jewish lawyers to help navigate sexual misconduct allegations. The emails can read like an antisemite’s fever dream, seeming to validate their most sinister fantasies about the financial influence, depravity, and insularity of the Elders of Zion. The fallout has been hard to ignore; one popular social media account has dubbed Epstein “part of the satanic global elite that pull the strings from the shadows,” while the right-wing influencer Candace Owens tweeted that “we are ruled by satanic pedophiles who work for Israel” and, in case anyone missed the point, added “This is the synagogue of Satan we are up against.” For all the moral panic about resurgent antisemitism over the past several years, much of it aimed at Palestine solidarity activists on the left, nothing has encouraged the real thing quite like the Epstein files.
^ this is what i'm concerned about. this is what you sound like when you talk about - and in contexts that aren't even directly about Epstein! - the "Epstein pedophile class" instead of just fucking saying "the ruling class."
they go on to say:
Faced with this old antisemitic trope of a wealthy, sexually perverse Jewish cabal that controls the interlocking worlds of finance, media, academia, and politics, we can bring a corrective clarity by pointing instead to capitalism itself as the conspiracy; we can also locate Epstein within a much broader and not distinctly Jewish elite network that is bound together not by a shared identity but by a deep misogyny and desire to protect powerful men from accountability for sexual misconduct and crimes. [...]
& in this podcast:
[T]his is where conspiracies are always useful: to protect capitalism, and to protect rage from going up and looking at systems. When a multi-ethnic, multiracial working class alliance is forming, one of the most effective ways you can blow it apart is with an antisemitic conspiracy theory. [...] You know, I’m seeing this everywhere, and I guess what I just want to put a flag down for in this conversation is the fact that our job on the left, on the Jewish left, for the last couple years, has basically been to turn the volume down on the antisemitism discourse. To basically say: The things that you think are antisemitism are not antisemitism. Jews are relatively safe. Being pro-Palestine is not antisemitic, being anti-Zionist is not antisemitic, blah, blah, blah. And now, we are in this totally new reality where there is just an explosion of anti-Jewish sentiment, such that I have never seen in my lifetime, coming from all over, that is connecting to things that I don’t think are being interpreted correctly, but they also have some basis in reality.
this is what i am talking about when i say we are missing an opportunity. this is such a crucial moment to push people further towards socialism and building a socialist political consciousness. people are already more willing than ever in the US to openly criticize capitalism! "capitalism bad" is not a super fringe point to make! we can do so much better than "Epstein pedophile class" while still talking about Epstein, while still talking about Israel! i am just asking for you to be a little bit more concerned with how easily and readily this discussion is co-opted by antisemitism, and to simply not to use that phrase. we do NOT need to use it in order to talk to Americans about capitalism and the ruling class, and we particularly don't need to use it in already leftist spaces like this website.

Octopus
official cephalopod post
This isn't going to become some anomalous method of arresting people. They will be shocking people like this as a matter of course.
Luckily thick clothing will insulate you from the shock.
They will 100% use this to torture people they're trying to arrest, and then when people struggle in response to the pain they will use that automatic human response as an excuse to execute them in the streets. absolutely insane to even consider giving this to any cop, let alone ICE!
So question: how many ppl are going to be accused of being "aggressive" (bc ya know... arguing while at a protest and all that history) and become hospitallized from hitting something on the way down or getting shocked to death (certain important medical accessories do poorly when shocked and something surgically implanted like a pacemaker isn't always obvious, same with heart murmurs, diagnosed or not) before the lawsuits begin?
How many deaths is it going to take before they quit treating this like the neatest new toy?
Because this demonstration video? The grinning and joking?
It is legit scaring the shit out of me. You see it and say, "ok, fancy glove" and assume it's a safety thing unless someone actually warns you.
