I was thinking about this when I was in school, I thought to myself, "Maybe the Cookies of Darkness represent flaws in Dark Enchantress Cookie" , I wrote the flaws down so I wouldn't forget. For fairness, I am also counting the former ones.

Licorice Cookie: Insecurity.

Licorice Cookie is shown to be insecure about himself. He wants to be powerful enough that no one will look down on him. Which can be traced back to Dark Enchantress Cookie, even if she won't admit it. I'd like to think her insecurity traces back to the banquet, where White Lily cookie was helpless to help the cookies from being eaten and had to live with the fact that her body was made to be a witch's snack. Which is why Dark Enchantress is doing this, she doesn't want any to live through the same fear she went through.

Pomegranate Cookie: Blind Faith

I was debating either Blind Faith or Sacrifice, but I chose Blind faith. She's obsessed with Dark Enchantress Cookie, that's no question. To the point where she'll destroy her home and friendships for Dark Enchantress. Dark Enchantress lives and breathes it in everyday, to the point where it blinds her to the members desires. For example, in Kingdom, if you make Red Velvet talk to Dark Enchantress, Red Velvet asked, "Will there ever be a world for betrayed desserts?" she answers, " I will show you a world where the witches burn!" That's not even close to what Red Velvet wants, but he doesn't say anything about it.

Poison Mushroom: Ignorance

This high child is mostly ignorant to what's happening around him. I say mostly because in Crispa Episode 10: Timeless Kingdom, he intentionally uses his spores to make Pure Vanilla suffer. Her story and actions make it clear that she hates it to a T. I would say that Dark Enchantress is ignorant, intentionally. I say she reminds me of those people that can and will hurt you if your beliefs don't match theirs. She got offended when Custard Cookie iii and Chili Pepper Cookie weren't even the least bit knowledgeable about the reason for their creation. But at the same time, her blind faith leads her to blind herself to the effects of her damage, as a result the heroes won't listen to her. Her intentional ignorance refuses to let her take accountability. She genuinely doesn't know that the heroes won't hear her out because of all the destruction she caused.

Choco Werehound: Sacrifice

In case you didn't know, his backstory is that he came from an aristocratic family and left it for reasons I don't know. Dark Enchantress takes this to a whole another level. Just like Choco Werehound, Dark Enchantress Cookie sacrifices her own dough and life to be something new, something that in her words, "Will help cookiekind." And it's not just herself, other cookies can be sacrificed, or heck, even kingdoms. The Vanilla Kingdom and the Golden Cheese Kingdom.

Butter Roll: Obsession

Again, taken to a another level. She's obsessed with the Ultimate Cookie, the soul jams' power, the witches. In fact, out of everything, the witches are her main obsession. They are the sole reason she's doing this. I know she hates the witches, but hate is also obsession. She even tries to look like the witches at the banquet, then a human! Butter Roll is obsessed with not only baking the perfect cookie, but also Matcha Cookie being alive despite missing an ingredient. Speaking of Matcha Cookie.

Matcha Cookie: Neglect

The girl needs love, give her love. Matcha cookie is looked down upon for missing an ingredient. No one knows what to do with her. She just laughs because she's missing an ingredient. Dark Enchantress is extremely neglectful, not to just Matcha Cookie, but to her crew and herself and in a way the world. Dark Enchantress is neglectful to her crew from forgetting their desires to even willing to sacrifice them to the Ultimate Cookie. And her own health too.

Chess Choco: Vulnerability

That's often how one gets manipulated and abused, they get you at your most vulnerable state, and that's what happened to Chess Choco. They were weak, cold, and hungry when Dark Enchantress found them. The story never states that Dark Enchantress uses their former state as a way to keep them in line, but I wouldn't count it out. Dark Enchantress would never admit it, but I think she is the most vulnerable cookie ever. She's still reminded of the banquet and the horrible revelation that cookies are baked to be eaten. Vulnerability magnetizes abuse, and I'm pretty sure she uses that to keep her army in line. Heck, even in her gacha pre-pull, she outright says it. She's still scared of what happened that night.

Agar Agar: Lust

Might sound weird, but despite what the media keeps spoonfeeding us, lust isn't always sexual. There's different types of lust, like bloodlust and powerlust. I think she represents powerlust, like Dark Enchantress, she desires more power to make the world a better place.

Earl Grey: Caretaking

Yes, I am aware that Earl Grey is not in CRK, but he is still part of the Cookies of Darkness. He is the self proclaimed caretaker of the Chess Choco twins. Even though he plays a small role, he still genuinely loves the Chess Choco twins and acts as the entire COD's caretaker. Well not all caretakers are good ones, like Dark Enchantress cookie. I think she more represents the self serving ones. The ones that will take care of you, with strings attached.

Former Cookies of Darkness:

Dark Choco: Sabotage

This poor dude was screwed over from the start. He got a cursed sword and it made him hurt his dad and get exiled from the kingdom, the dark side does not treat him better than home. Pomegranate constantly makes this cookie's life a living nightmare by sabotaging his mental health by reminding him of his past mistakes. Dark Enchantress is sabotage in everyway, she sabotages other cookies and kingdoms(Vanilla Kingdom).

Red Velvet: Trauma

The Witches Banquet, almost got eaten, lost his arm. Pretty traumatizing. White Lily Cookie, also the Witches Banquet, learned the tragic existence of her life, falls into the Ultimate dough, gets REBAKED into the oven with a bunch of cookies and loses her identity. Traumatic, and they both use that trauma as excuses for their actions. Red Velvet wants a world where Cakes and Desserts can get along and Dark Enchantress wants a world where no cookie has to worry about becoming a snack. But both of their actions because of their trauma bring them farther from their dreams. Wizard Cookie points out that attacking ancient kingdoms with the cake army doesn't exactly gain sympathy points for the cakes, and Dark Enchantress has fed cookie victims into two wars. She even tries to feed cookies to the Ultimate Cookie, especially Gingerbrave. I think Red Velvet's 2 week notice was foreshadowed at the start of Dark Enchantress war arc, right at Dark Enchantress's release.

Strawberry Crepe: Curiosity

This one's pretty self explanatory. Again, White Lily Cookie was curious about the cookies' existence like Strawberry Crepe. And that curiosity cost her part of her soul.

Affogato Cookie: Control

Both of them embody this trait to the fullest. To them what can't be controlled can be with force or has got to go, it's mainly the former. Take Affogato, he controls the king through manipulation and isolation. He isolated Dark Cacao from his most loyal watcher, Caramel Arrow Cookie. Dark Enchantress Cookie uses control by force and manipulation. Both of them like a situation where they know they have everything in check, that's probably why we don't see Affogato in the COD anymore, he knew this wasn't a situation he could control, or he didn't approve of her plan.

The Rotten Dough Trio (Mold Dough cookie, Venom Dough Cookie, and Pom Pom Dough Cookie): Instability

This trio is very unstable. Imagine being considered failures for the Ultimate Cookie, and forced into a war. I would ditch the place first chance I got. Even then, their instability represent a crucial part of Dark Enchantress. Mold Dough Cookie will follow instructions to the letter, even if it kills him. Venom Dough Cookie will try to defy orders any chance they get. Pom Pom Dough Cookie is a special one, out of the entire rotten dough trio, she has more of Dark Enchantress in her, I'm talking about her Victim Blaming, Dark Enchantress will blame others for her problems. In her first intro, Pom Pom Dough attacked the army because in her eyes, they are the reason for her suffering and why she was baked.

Lobster Cookie: Good Intentions

Yes you heard me right. Even though she is a megalomaniac, she genuinely wished the best for Cookiekind. She made the Ultimate Cookie as way to free Cookiekind from their fate as snacks. Like how Lobster Cookie joined the COD as a way to rebuild Sugarteara.
