I wanted to draw something for mermay before it ends. So I did a little chonky Elita-1 mermaid baby.

It's my birthday today so I drew the chonkers eating some birthday cake!

Bulkhead ate some but is waiting for the others to have their share.

So Optimus basically has a made up robot condition that's the equivalent of acid reflux or nausea.

When a sparkling consumes something that isn't good for them or contains something contaminated, their processors will detect the issue and their tanks will expel it. Unfortunately in rare cases the sparkling's processor will detect any fuel as contaminated and start screaming at them to get rid of whatever they had, even if it's perfectly safe.

This could also sometimes be triggered by foreign textures or tastes or just consuming fuel they aren't used to, even the process of swallowing fuel and oil can trigger expelling. If not treated properly, it can cause malnourishment or other tank issues as a result of all that puking.

This can be treated with medicine and will eventually go away as the sparkling ages and their spark develops. Unfortunately in very rare cases the condition will stay even in maturity.

Optimus is one of those unlucky few. (It's also a big reason he wasn't adopted for a while but that's lore for another day-)
