like the blacks on this screen are not REAL. it's an oled so there's literally zero backlight bleed and the contrast is just — infinite. you watch a dark scene and it looks like the tv turned off except there's still a whole movie happening??

and then it switches to a bright outdoor shot and the quantum dot colors just POP. deep blues. actual reds. greens that look like grass smells if that makes sense

here's what got me: → 144hz feels smooth even outside of gaming → gaming mode input lag is under 10ms (!!!) → tizen os is actually fast and doesn't lag like my old smart tv → the bezel is SO thin it almost looks like a floating screen → dolby atmos from a flat tv actually does something

is it perfect? no. bright rooms will wash it out a little. but in the right setup? chef's kiss 🤌

okay so losing your phone is literally one of the most stressful things ever. your whole life is in there. so here's a little guide for what to do if it ever happens to you (or someone you know):

📍 step one: go to findmydevice.google.com — log in with your google account and it'll show you exactly where your phone is on a map. you can even make it ring at full volume even if it's on silent!!

🗺️ step two: check google maps timeline (location history) — it can show you the last places your phone was.

🔒 step three: remotely lock your phone so nobody can get in while you're figuring things out.

🧹 step four: if you think it's stolen and you won't get it back, you can remotely erase all your data to protect yourself.

📞 step five: call your carrier and give them your IMEI number — they can help track and suspend your SIM.

okay so i need to talk about phone overheating because i almost had an actual incident and nobody warns you about this properly.

your phone getting burning hot is not normal. like yes phones get warm. that's fine. but "i can't hold this without flinching" hot? that's your phone telling you it's being damaged.

here's what's actually happening inside a hot phone:

— your battery permanently loses charging capacity every single time — your processor deliberately slows itself down to not catch fire (called throttling)

— if you have an oled screen, the pixels are slowly degrading

— the tiny solder joints on your motherboard are expanding and contracting until they crack

and the causes? most people only know "gaming makes it hot." here are the ones nobody talks about:

— weak 5g signal forcing your radio to blast at maximum power

— charging on your bed or couch (fabric traps heat under the phone)

— thick phone case blocking the back panel which is literally designed as a heatsink

— background malware running your cpu at 100% while the screen is off

— the phone is 2+ years old and the battery is just... tired

the fastest fix when it's already hot: unplug it → remove the case → close all apps → airplane mode → hard flat surface near ac vent

that's it. 5-10 minutes. do not put it in the freezer (moisture condensation will literally fry the motherboard).
