Me this morning after my iPhone updated and gave me a huge splash screen about new Apple Intelligence features:
A warning to Mac users:
In macOS Sequoia 15.3, Apple forcefully enabled their AI garbage on all M-Series Macs.
Luckily, you could turn this off. No big deal.
However, I just updated to macOS 15.3.1, and guess what: Apple forcefully enabled it again, even though I’d previously manually disabled it.
So, uh, if you’re a Mac user and disabled Apple Intelligence in macOS 15.3, and you have macOS 15.3.1 or newer… you might wanna give your “Apple Intelligence & Siri” settings tab another look.
Hey y'all, this is for everybody that has an iPhone
My phone updated to iOS 18.3.1 last night and immediately when I unlocked it the first time, it asked me to set up Apple Intelligence, even though I had turned that off when I first got the phone. So, here's how you turn off Apple Intelligence:
1) go to Settings and scroll to the "Apple Intelligence & Siri" tab
2) Toggle off "Apple Intelligence"
3) Back in the regular Settings menu, scroll down the to bottom and select "Privacy & Security"
4) Scroll down and select "Apple Intelligence Report" in the Transparency Logs section
5) In the drop down menu, select Off
6) You will get a pop up that says "Stop recording Apple Intelligence activity?" Click Ok
This is sincerely the most annoying and sneaky way to add AI to devices. I wouldn't have even seen the Apple Intelligence Report if I hadn't been trying to mess around with FindMyiPhone

Not to be a crazy conspiracy theorist but sometimes I wonder if part of the reason huge tech companies (backed by the govt or sucking up to it) are aggressively push for insertion of AI into everything and trying to make it seem like we need it for everything to make it our new normal is part of an intentional ploy to not only get us completely dependent on using it instead of our brains— given far right movements love the uneducated, studies show overuse of chatGPT literally rewires your brain— but also to purposely get us unable to tell reality from fake generation? That way, when a government official/someone they want to protect does something awful, and they’re called out for it, they’re immediately dismissed as AI by both the media, the perpetrator, and people who meatride for them? We already have totally normal art, photography, and even pre-AI videos being aggressively torn apart by people unable to tell if it’s AI, and right now is the worst video generation will be at any time.
Oh my lord. Minecraft Story Mode really predicts Apple Intelligence. We're going to be utilized in the singularity.
