cancel the bubble round

my bf has 3 older sisters and all of us plus their partners went to a bar and then came back to the airbnb and were trying to get inside and the drunkest person was the one trying to unlock the door and she kept getting the code wrong and we were laughing really hard but trying to be quiet (parents and babies were inside sleeping) then their dad let us in and was all grumpy about it, it was very teenager coded even though all of us are 28 or older, and then we went down to the dock to look at stars and for me I was like damn having siblings is so fun 😄

on vacation w my bf's family and there's a shared album for photos and his dad uploaded a pic of me sitting across from my bf and looking/smiling at him all dopey OKAY... WE GET IT...

the other day at the gym i saw this kid (prob 12-13 y/o boy) who was climbing a super hard route, getting a few moves in, I think he's on the youth team so other kids were watching and saying "you got this, c'mon" etc, but after a few moves he half falls/half jumps down, says "STOP CHEERING FOR ME" and immediately burst into tears and tbh he's real for that

the thing about travel is that you're like oh sure visiting friends who are working in alaska this summer would be fun let's look into it, and you discover that you'd have to spend $2,000 to have the worst travel day of your life and you're like oh okay never mind!

was at an amusement park today and i ordered a draft beer and bro put ice in the cup, filled it halfway with beer, then thank GOD he said oh the keg is empty sorry :( and i said i'LL HAVE A CAN OF BEER INSTEAD THANKS NO PROBLEM LMFAO he also said it's his first day so somebody's gotta tell him about the ice thing. i should've told him but i was simply flabbergasted.

the only work vehicle we could get for our trip this week was fully electric but we thought it'd be fine bc there were 2 charging stations in the hotel parking lot but little did we know that most ev chargers dont work, we tried 5 different ones in 3 different small towns in MN and only 1 of them worked and we arrived at the 5th one with literally 10 miles of charge left and when we plugged it in and it started charging we all jumped up and down screaming bc we thought we were TRULY toast.

i'm kinda crazy for leaving a job where I worked from home 100% of the time and barely ever had any actual work to do to take a job where I literally have to wade through stinging nettle for miles trying to find some fuckass electrical line way out in the woods. but I dont regret it. It's the acute suffering of walking directly thru a patch of nettle (ouch! but pain ends quickly) vs the chronic low grade suffering of sending emails all day (soul destroying)

it's my sister's bday weekend and we went to the international wolf center (in northern mn) bc she has great taste in activities and as soon as we walked in the door she went WOWWWWWW loud as fuck and the people at the front desk just cracked up laughing lmao. For reference it was just... a small museum. With some wolves in the back. The wolves were cool though.
