A rug is taped to the floor throughout the show to prevent people tripping on it. When it comes time to remove the rug, it is discovered that the tape was much stronger than anyone realised, and that it can only be removed from the floor by scrubbing at it with a strong glue dissolving solvent. No one thinks to crack a window while attempting to remove it and everyone slowly gets high off the fumes

The first performance of the show actually goes well! In particular, the sets and costumes looked really good! Too good, in fact - the costumes are so nice that someone breaks in overnight and steals them. Costumes for the rest of the run need to be improvised

Chris accuses Trevor of gaslighting him and attempting to destroy his passion for the theatrical arts after Trevor calls one of his ideas impractical

Someone has to play a second role script-in-hand because exactly one week before opening night one of the other actors dropped out and moved to Manchester
